MISSION: Inspire, promote and grow global travel to Orlando for economic and community benefit.
VISION: To be the most visited, welcoming and inclusive travel destination in the world.
Who We Are
Founded in 1984, the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau was created by city and county officials, in partnership with local businesses, as an independent organization to promote convention and leisure travel. Today, Visit Orlando is managed by a board of directors that includes representation from a wide variety of government, tourism and community leaders. Consistently recognized as one of America's top destination marketing organizations, we offer team members exciting and rewarding career opportunities that include professional growth, an enjoyable work environment and a complete benefits package.
WE INNOVATE: We are free to be curious and to create what we imagine. We go beyond delivering what works, we deliver what’s next.
WE TRUST: We are stewards of the resources and experiences entrusted to us. We show up for each other and our community. Trust is our currency.
WE WELCOME: We are diverse by nature and inclusive by choice. Everyone belongs here.
WE SERVE: We are dedicated to serving our community and each other. Service is our superpower.
WE "ORLANDO": We create moments that matter and have a blast doing it! Fun has no height restrictions.
From widespread economic impact to enhanced quality of life, the power of tourism elevates our community in profound ways. At Visit Orlando, we tap into this power with initiatives that benefit our diverse membership base and make our community a better place for visitors and residents alike. One of our most popular programs, Visit Orlando's Magical Dining, has donated nearly $2 million to local nonprofits while supporting hundreds of restaurants and raising the profile of Orlando's dining scene.
Visit Orlando is proud to operate in a transparent fashion, providing regular updates to Orange County government and the general public that cover financials, meeting minutes and activity reports. In addition, our corporate blog features weekly news from our organization, and our three-year strategic plan is available as a road map to our future.
