What is the Walt Disney World reservation system?
Before visiting Walt Disney World Resort’s theme parks, annual passholders and Disney Cast Members must make a reservation using the Disney Park Pass System. All other guests with valid theme park admission do not require reservations.

How do Disney Genie Service and Lightning Lanes work?
Available for all Walt Disney World Resort guests in the My Disney Experience app, the complimentary Disney Genie Service offers new features that let you create your best Disney day. These features include a personalized itinerary creator that effortlessly and smartly maps out an entire day inspired by the things guests tell Disney they love — helping you make the most of your park time so you can have more fun.

Similar to a navigation app on a phone, the Disney Genie Service continues to update your itinerary from morning to night as the day changes, so you can stay spontaneous and go with the flow — whether you need a nap, encounter an unexpected rain shower or want to take a detour for a Mickey ice cream bar.

Through the My Disney Experience app, you can also purchase the Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane Entrance for more than 40 attractions across the four Walt Disney World theme parks, as well as Individual Lightning Lane Entrance for highly demanded attractions. As a reminder, attractions continue to offer a traditional standby queue.

Mother Nature takes center stage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, which will transport you to some of the most remote locations on Earth — and the planet Pandora — without leaving Orlando. Then, it’s time for lights, camera and plenty of action at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, Disney’s stunning salute to movies.

Speaking of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, for the first time ever, there’s a place where you can live your very own Star Wars™ story, from flying the Millennium Falcon to getting caught in a battle between the First Order and the Resistance, only at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. And now, the wackiest, silliest train trip ever is ready to take you through the cartoon world and Mickey & Minnie’s first ride-through attraction in Disney Parks history. When Mouse Rules apply, anything can happen aboard Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

And the thrills still aren’t done! Disney also has two water parks in Orlando, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, which are themed around a melting ski resort and a storm-tossed tropical paradise, respectively. (Please note that water parks at Walt Disney World Resort are subject to seasonal and maintenance closures.)

Disney Springs®

You’ll discover unique dining and shopping throughout theme parks and water parks at Walt Disney World, but Disney Springs takes both to a rarefied level. Not only does it feature the highest concentration of celebrity chefs in Orlando, but admission and parking are always free.
