From the tourism districts to downtown and beyond, your next adventure is always right around the corner in Orlando.
Some of Orlando’s best attractions beyond the theme parks can be found in the International Drive (I-Drive) District. Enjoy amusement park rides at Fun Spot America. Exceed your need for speed Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. Test your wits by outsmarting seemingly unbeatable escape rooms at The Escape Game Orlando and Escapology. And explore wonders and oddities from around the globe at Ripley’s Believe It or Not!® and WonderWorks, the latter of which is part of Pointe Orlando.
ICON Park®, Fun Spot America and Dezerland Park, all part of the I-Drive District, also have numerous attractions for all ages.
You will find many unbelievable attractions beyond Orlando’s I-Drive. One of our oldest attractions, Gatorland features an enthralling mix of real animal encounters and wild rides you will want to experience, including the Screamin’ Gator Zip Line. Another truly wild zip line adventure can be enjoyed at Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens — not to mention a menageries of animals.
For even more outdoor action, look into airboat tours at Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures, Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Rides or Wild Florida, among others. For something a little calmer, book time with Epic Paddle Adventures, Get Up and Go Kayaking or Discovery Kayak & SUP.
ICON Park® offers rarefied views of Orlando from aboard The Orlando Eye — a 400-foot-tall observation wheel that is the tallest on the eastern U.S. seaboard. To go higher and much faster, take a ride on the Orlando StarFlyer. You can also explore wonders and marvels at Madame Tussauds Orlando, SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium and Museum of Illusions Orlando, among other things to do.
Fun Spot America is Central Florida’s only family-owned theme park, and it actually has two locations: International Drive, aka I-Drive, in Orlando and Kissimmee near Walt Disney World. Both provide the same level of fun, but they are distinct enough to allow for completely different experiences. Whether you are a thrill-seeker or someone who prefers the lights and sounds of an arcade, these parks offer plenty of excitement for the entire family, including multi-level go-kart tracks and Orlando’s only wooden roller coaster.
Dezerland Park boasts numerous indoor attractions. Things to do include Orlando Auto Museum, The Pinball Palace, Arcade Orlando, Bowling Orlando, Jump Start Trampoline Park and Karting Orlando, among others.
You will never run out of one-of-a-kind adventures in Orlando. See what else is waiting to amaze you.
