Yes. Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, with August to October being the most active. Orlando is inland, so while it is less likely to see direct hits, we do sometimes get heavy rain and wind from tropical systems.

Orlando weather can change quickly — especially in the summer. A sunny morning may turn into a rainy afternoon, followed by clear skies again. It is best to check the daily forecast and be prepared for both sun and showers in one day.
Snow is extremely rare in Orlando. The last measurable snowfall happened over 45 years ago. Even in winter, daytime highs are usually in the 60s and 70s°F (15 – 25°C).
From June to August, average highs range from 90°F to 95°F (32°C to 35°C) with high humidity. Stay hydrated, wear light clothing and take advantage of early mornings or evening outings when temperatures are lower.
