Walt Disney World Resort
Disney's Magic Kingdom in Orlando
Your children can see their favorite storybooks come to life at Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom. First, character meet-and-greets are offered daily throughout the park, featuring favorites such as Cinderella, Donald Duck, Ariel and many others. (Pro tip: To guarantee your little ones will meet beloved characters, make a reservation at a Magic Kingdom restaurant with character dining.)

The Magic Kingdom also offers a variety of toddler-friendly attractions. For instance, children are in control of their own flight on The Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. They'll also enjoy journeying on water at the It's a Small World and Jungle Cruise attractions. And shows like Country Bear Jamboree or Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor are perfect entertainment for the entire family.

Universal Orlando Resort's theme parks have numerous play areas perfectly suited for toddlers. At Universal Studios Florida, Barney's Backyard features a train and a treehouse, while interactive step-on stones and giant wind chimes create music to little kids' ears. It also has a splash area! Curious George Goes to Town and Fievel's Playland have a wealth of fun in store for toddlers, too.

Then, at Universal's Islands of Adventure, tots will be transported into the magical worlds of Dr. Seuss courtesy of Seuss Landing, which features sceneries and attractions that bring imagination to life. Join Dr. Seuss' famous feline on The Cat in The Hat, and keep an eye out for character encounters. Little ones can also accompany the Grinch or the Cat in the Hat for musical story time during daily Oh! The Stories You'll Hear! shows.
SeaWorld Orlando is filled with shows and rides perfect for tots. Bring the kids to the Dolphin Nursery, where they can catch a close glimpse of dolphin mothers and their newest arrivals, or Stingray Lagoon, where they can pet the rays. Smaller children will also enjoy rides such as Flying Fiddler, Ocean Commotion and Sea Carousel. And in 2019, they'll get a whole new world of wonder when Sesame Street comes to the theme park!
LEGOLAND Florida Resort
LEGOLAND Florida Resort Near Orlando
LEGOLAND Florida Resort's DUPLO Valley is a big hit for its smallest guests. Toddlers can board the DUPLO Tractor and DUPLO Train, and DUPLO Tot Spot, which includes a slide and a playhouse, is designed especially for kids under 2. Children can also cool off outside with the interactive Splash & Play water zone, or indoors at DUPLO Farm.
Crayola Experience at The Florida Mall in Orlando
Crayola Experience is all about kid creativity. Whether making a one-of-a-kind crayon to take home, or using a photo booth to star in a personalized coloring page, the Crayola Experience is one to remember! Located at The Florida Mall, about 20 minutes from Universal Studios, it features 26 attractions in all, including a designated Toddler Town with interactive activities for tots.
SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium

From seahorses and sharks to stingrays and jellyfish, get the best (and dry) views from under the sea at SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium, part of the lineup of attractions at ICON Orlando 360. SEA LIFE features Orlando's only 360-degree underwater tunnel, which is known to mesmerize kids and adults alike. It also offers the Toddler Tuesday program. Running from 9:30-10 a.m., the weekly event includes sing-a-longs, stories and sea creature activities aimed to educate toddlers through hands-on experiences.
Gatorland in Orlando
Gatorland is one of Orlando's longest-running attractions, and it has a wealth of safe entertainment for toddlers — beginning with loads of alligators, crocodiles, Florida panthers and more to marvel at! Children can pet goats, llamas and other friendly critters at Allie's Barnyard, or feed birds at the Very Merry Aviary. Tots can also have a wet and wild time at Gator Gully Splash Park, while the Gatorland Express Railroad provides a soothing, 20-minute ride for the whole family.

Part of Orlando's Loch Haven Park, about 15 minutes from downtown, Orlando Science Center includes KidsTown, a massive exhibit that occupies the facility's entire second floor. KidsTown has seven zones in all, including Toddler Town, which caters to the littlest ones and includes a multi-level water table experience. Throughout the year, the Orlando Science Center also features a wealth of programming for kids.
Harry P. Leu Gardens
Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando
A 15-minute drive from downtown will get you to Harry P. Leu Gardens, a tropical oasis in the heart of Orlando. Here, children and their families can enjoy a scenic stroll through 50 acres of cultivated beauty. And on the first Monday of select months, kids ages 5 and under can enjoy Story Time, a free indoor event sponsored by the Orange County Library System.
Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens
Children don't only get to meet animals at Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens — they can feed them, too! At the Barnyard Buddies Children's Zoo, visitors of all ages can enjoy a close encounter with domesticated animals such as llamas, alpacas and even goats. Then, toddlers can take a break and cool off in the Wharton-Smith Tropical Splash Ground. The Central Florida Zoo is approximately 30 minutes north of downtown Orlando.
