Learn, play and discover in six distinct Wonder Zones designed for kids and adults of all ages. From the depths of space to an art-driven journey of the mind, here’s what you can expect from each.
Physical Challenge Zone
Test the limitations of the physical world in the Physical Challenge Zone, where you can defy gravity, lie on a bed of 3,500 nails, lift yourself up with pulley power, race against the speed of light, and create bubbles big enough to house a grown person.
Extreme Weather Zone
Experience a 5.3 magnitude earthquake, ride out a hurricane, become a human lightning rod and immerse your hand in frigid 28-degree water in the Extreme Weather Zone, which explores some of the post powerful natural forces on Earth.
Let your imagination soar with interactive exhibits like WonderBrite, a gigantic Lite Brite wall where you can build your own glowing masterpiece. Leave your mark on the 8-foot-tall Wonder Wall, harness augmented reality to create your own landscape in the Dig It sandbox, and get your gears spinning at Gear Works.
Light & Sound Zone
Compose music with your feet on a giant piano, capture a phosphorescent impression of your shadow, and hit the Recollections dance floor, where special effects mirror your dance moves.
Space Discovery Zone
Suit up for otherworldly exploration in the Space Discovery Zone, where you can explore a replica space capsule, take a wild astronaut training challenge and try on an astronaut space suit. Put your training to good use on the Wonder Coaster, a virtual roller coaster ride where you can design and experience the coaster of your dreams.
Wonder Art Gallery
Last but not least, WonderWorks’ basement — which is upstairs, of course — is a gallery filled with brain-teasing paintings and illusions. It’s also home to Dr. Seuss’s Unorthodox Taxidermy collection, a series of seventeen imaginative animal sculptures created by author Dr. Seuss in the 1930s.
Laser Tag Arena
Challenge your friends and loved ones to a fast-paced Laser Tag battle through one of the largest laser tag arenas in Orlando. Outlast, outwit and outplay your opponents in this thrilling, black-lit maze, included in the cost of admission.
Glow-in-the-Dark Ropes Course
Take family fun to new heights at WonderWorks’ 3-story glow-in-the-dark golf course. Packed with over 20 different obstacles, including suspension bridges, swinging beams, lily pads and more, this first-of-its-kind attraction is open to visitors 42 – 80 inches tall. Adult companions are required for guests 42 – 48 inches tall, and no open shoes, dresses or skirts are permitted.
4D XD Motion Theater
This one-of-a-kind 4D XD experience combines 3D film with special effects and full motion seating to virtually transport you into big-screen action and adventure. Motion ranges from subtle sensations to intense vibrations, and guests must be at least 40 inches tall to ride.
