Camping World Stadium
This legendary stadium features some of college football’s biggest games, including the Citrus Bowl, the Cheez-It Bowl, the Florida Blue Florida Classic and more.
Located at Walt Disney World® Resort, this 220-acre facility hosts more than 170 professional and amateur sporting events throughout the year.
Orlando City Soccer Club
Orlando’s MLS team and the Orlando City Pride women’s team are wildly popular, and their home games at Exploria Stadium in downtown Orlando are known to be raucously fun. And soccer fans, take note: Numerous exhibition games and other soccer-related events are also held here.
Orlando’s first professional sports team is still going strong, playing a minimum of 41 games per season at the Amway Center in downtown Orlando. If you’re visiting from out of town, there’s always a chance to catch your favorite NBA team in action, too!
Orlando Solar Bears
Orlando’s ECHL hockey team plays home games at downtown Orlando’s Amway Center.
Open to the public, and located just 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO), this massive, 64-acre facility boasts unparalleled facilities and programs for tennis enthusiasts of all ages and skillsets. What’s more, many of its courts are free to play for visitors of all ages.

Given that golf can be played in Orlando all year long, it’s no surprise that numerous celebrity golfers and course designers have made their mark on our greens.

Take Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge, for example. Located just 10 minutes from Universal Orlando Resort, the King’s namesake Orlando club offers golfing to club members and registered guests of the 70-room lodge.
More Palmer designs can be played at Shingle Creek Golf Course, which is adjacent to International Drive, and The Legends course at Orange Lake Resort, about 10 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort. On a related note, Walt Disney World Golf is operated by Arnold Palmer Golf Management and features three outstanding courses. Finally, Reunion Resort, about 15 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort, is the only club in the world to feature course designs by Palmer, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus.
Speaking of Nicklaus, Grand Cypress Golf Club offers 45 holes of Jack Nicklaus Signature-designed golf with four different 18-hole combinations. They’re just 10 minutes from Disney. If you prefer Rees Jones’ approach to course design, you’ll find his work at Falcon’s Fire Golf Club, less than 15 minutes from Disney, and Waldorf Astoria Golf Club, the first golf course for the Waldorf Astoria brand.
Greg Norman’s influence can be found on local courses, too, including those at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Orlando, Grande Lakes and ChampionsGate Golf Club, the latter of which is 20 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort and actually has two Norman-designed layouts.
