Independence Day Fireworks at Walt Disney World® Resort
On July 1, 2021, evening fireworks will return to Walt Disney World Resort — just in time for Independence Day! On the Fourth of July, Magic Kingdom® Park will host its “Happily Ever After” fireworks display, while EPCOT® will have its “EPCOT Forever” show.

Fireworks at the Fountain
From 5 – 10 p.m. at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando, enjoy live entertainment, family-friendly fun, and food and beverages available for purchase from a variety of vendors, culminating with a patriotic fireworks finale starting at 9:15 p.m. Learn more.
Orlando World Center Marriott
The Independence Day celebration at Orlando World Center Marriott will feature live music, a nighttime laser show, daily activities and fireworks. An overnight stay is not required, but visitors will otherwise have to pay for parking or have it validated by an onsite restaurant.
Independence Day Celebration at The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art (July 5, 2021)
On July 5 only, enjoy free admission to The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., subject to capacity limits. In addition to the Morse’s renowned collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany, the museum will have two items on exhibit exclusively for the holiday: a 1798 creamer by American silversmith and patriot Paul Revere, and a c. 1927 baseball signed by such legends of America’s pastime as Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb and Lou Gehrig. Great American Weekend in Lake Nona (June 24-26, 2021)
One week before Independence Day weekend, this fun community is hosting a trio of related events, including the Strawberry Full Moon Party on June 24 (learn more), Taste of Cape Cod on June 25 (learn more), and Lakeside Carnival & Fireworks on June 26 (learn more). The first has a $15 cover charge, but the other two are free to attend. Lake Nona is east of our main tourism districts, about 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport.

The Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom® Park
Who better to celebrate America’s independence with than past and present U.S. presidents? At Walt Disney World® Resort, The Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom Park provides a unique opportunity to see, and in some cases hear, animatronic versions of the nation’s leaders. In addition to the centerpiece, 25-minute experience, the attraction also offers a self-guided tour of various replicas and artifacts from U.S. history. Please note: The Hall of Presidents may be closed for refurbishment on Independence Day 2021.

Ride the Freedom Flyer at Fun Spot America Orlando
Soar like an eagle — an American bald eagle, of course — on Fun Spot America’s Freedom Flyer. The suspended, inverted steel roller coaster is part of the lineup of family-friendly attractions at Fun Spot’s Orlando location on International Drive, which also features the patriotically painted HeadRush 360. Although Fun Spot’s Kissimmee location near Walt Disney World doesn’t have a Freedom Flyer, you can still fly like America’s mascot there courtesy of its Screaming Eagles attraction.

See Bald Eagles on Orlando Boat Tours
The Orlando area provides many opportunities to see the American bald eagle in natural settings — particularly when you book passage on our boat tours and rides. Protect the White House at America’s Escape Game
The White House is in trouble on Independence Day and every day at America’s Escape Game, which is located on International Drive. In “Crisis at 1600,” a paramilitary group has seized the building and launched a swarm of missiles that can only be disarmed from inside the Oval Office. It will fall on you and up to nine other players to save the day — and millions of lives in the process!
