Superheroic Comic Book & Hobby Shops in Orlando
Take a break from your Orlando adventures at fan-favorite comic book and hobby shops throughout the destination.
Gods & Monsters
Located on International Drive, aka I-Drive, close to Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld® Orlando, this shop offers comic books, games, toys and collectibles, as well as a robust events schedule. What really makes Gods & Monsters stand out are thematic elements like a gallery of pop culture displayed as fine art, and the on-site Vault 5421, billed as a post-apocalyptic-themed, craft-beer speakeasy.

Coliseum of Comics
A local tradition for decades, this family of stores has four Central Florida locations, including one near The Mall at Millenia, a second in Kissimmee about 25 minutes from Walt Disney World® Resort, and a third east of downtown Orlando. Besides comics, they stock games, toys and related merchandise, in addition to hosting gaming events.

A Comic Shop
Don’t let the generic name fool you. This Winter Park store, about 20 minutes from our main tourism districts, packs a lot of under-the-hood surprises, including The Geek Easy — an on-site, craft-beer bar with fun events like “Geek Trivia,” “Nerdy Karaoke” and live music. Not to mention that A Comic Shop is a great place to stock up on everything comics- and games-related.

Superheroic Attractions & Events in Orlando
Unleash your inner superhero at these Orlando attractions — plus the largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming celebration in the southeastern U.S.
The southeast’s premier pop culture convention, MEGACON Orlando takes place every spring at the Orange County Convention Center, with the next edition set for March 30 – April 2, 2023. Living up to the “mega” part of its name, the event boasts 400,000 square feet of shopping, plus appearances by comic book creators and Hollywood celebrities, “How To” workshops, tattoo artists, and more cosplayers than one could reasonably be expected to shake a stick at.

A diverse lineup of celebrities has already been announced for 2023 with more to come, including James McAvoy (X-Men: First Class), the cast of Cobra Kai, comedy legend Chevy Chase, director Sam Raimi (Army of Darkness), comic book creators Joe Quesada and Jae Lee, and many others. Tickets tend to sell out — be sure to secure yours faster than a speeding bullet.
Billed as “the nation’s largest trading card, anime and pop culture convention,” Collect-A-Con Orlando is coming to the Orange County Convention Center on Feb. 25 – 26, 2023.
Madame Tussauds Orlando
If you can’t make it to Orlando in the spring to attend MEGACON, you still have the opportunity to meet some of your favorite superheroes at Madame Tussauds Orlando. Here, you can interact with lifelike, expertly detailed wax figures of Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg from DC Entertainment’s Justice League motion picture in action-packed environments — and yes, photography is welcome.

World’s Largest Collection of Batman Vehicles at Dezerland Park
You can’t drive the Batmobile in Orlando (yet!) — but you can see a whole bunch of them at Orlando Auto Museum, featuring those used by Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and others. In fact, they have the world’s largest collection of Bat-conveyances, including a “nuclear-powered” Batboat, not to mention about 2,000 other rare vehicles. Orlando Auto Museum is part of Dezerland Park, the massive indoor amusement park in the I-Drive Entertainment District.

iFLY Orlando Indoor Skydiving
Ever wanted to fly like Superman? You can — sort of — at iFLY Orlando Indoor Skydiving on I-Drive. Granted, you won’t travel beyond the attraction’s vertical wind tunnel, but while you’re in it, there’s nothing stopping you from extending your arms straight out in front of you like the Man of Tomorrow himself.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT®
At Walt Disney World® Resort, save the galaxy with Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot aboard Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, part of the first “other-world” pavilion at EPCOT®. It’s also the park’s first coaster, the first Disney coaster with a reverse launch, the longest fully enclosed coaster at any Disney theme park, and the first Disney Omnicoaster, where vehicles make controlled rotations to always keep you focused on the action.

Did we mention the rocking soundtrack featuring some of the galaxy’s coolest music? Because it has that, too.
