ZORA!® Outdoor Festival of the Arts

ZORA!® Festival Season (Select Dates Through May 14, 2026)

First presented in 1990, the ZORA! Festival Season is a multi-disciplinary, intergenerational series of events that include public talks, conferences, movie screenings, arts education programming and other things to do. The celebration takes place primarily in the historic Town of Eatonville and throughout Orange County.

Kicking off on Hurston’s birthday (January 7), the ZORA! Festival Season offers a wealth of fun, engaging programs, including many that are free to attend. The celebration’s main event is the open-air Outdoor Festival of the Arts (Jan. 30 – Feb. 1) in downtown Eatonville, offering free admission on the first day. Immerse yourself in interactive art and live music, shop from over 80 vendors, and enjoy family-friendly STEM activities. Several other ZORA! events will take place later this spring.

Lunar New Year Festivals (Jan. 31 – Feb. 15, 2026)

Now in its fifth year, Celebrate Lunar showcases a joyful fusion of diverse Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) cultures. Enjoy authentic cuisines, captivating performances, cultural spotlights and community activities that capture the spirit of the Lunar New Year season, including family activities and an epic hip-hop dance battle. It all takes place at Luminary Green in downtown Orlando’s Parramore District.

Other ways to ring in the Lunar New Year include the Lunar New Year Celebration at Dezerland Park (Feb. 14 – 15) and the Central Florida Dragon Parade & Lunar New Year Festival (Feb. 15). The latter is held in the Mills 50® District adjacent to downtown Orlando.

Outdoor Art Festivals (Select Dates, Jan. 31 – April 5, 2026)

In addition to ZORA! Festival, the Orlando area hosts a dazzling array of nationally recognized art festivals during late winter and spring. None are older or larger than the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival (March 20 – 22). Launched in 1960, the juried show features hundreds of national artists displaying paintings, sculpture, glasswork, jewelry, woodworking and much more.

Other local outdoor art festivals taking place this season include the Mount Dora Arts Festival (Jan. 31 – Feb. 1), Lake Nona Art Festival (Feb. 21 – 22), UpTown Art Expo in Altamonte Springs (March 27 – 29), and Spring Fiesta in the Park at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando’s Thornton Park District (April 4 – 5). All offer free admission.

Black History Month Events (Throughout February 2026)

During February, you can look forward to Black History Month events throughout the destination, including uplifting celebrations of the arts and engaging educational forums. Celebrate with special events, exhibits and Black-owned restaurants, attractions and other unique businesses.

IMMERSE Fest (Feb. 20 – 22, 2026)

At IMMERSE Fest, you don’t just watch art — you get up close and personal with it. Presented by Creative City Project and spanning 10 city blocks of downtown Orlando, IMMERSE is filled with epic live performances, immersive art installations and unexpected creative moments. In other words, it has something for the art lover in everyone.

MEGACON Orlando (March 19 – 22, 2026)

The largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming celebration in the southeastern U.S., MEGACON Orlando takes place at the Orange County Convention Center in the heart of Orlando’s International Drive Entertainment District. The three-day event features appearances by comic book creators, Hollywood celebrities, “How To” workshops, cosplay competitions, 400,000 square feet of shopping and countless other reasons to visit.

Confirmed celebrities for 2026 include cast members from Star Trek: The Next Generation, The Lord of the Rings, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Reno 911!, legendary comic creators like Frank Miller and Jim Lee, animation voices, famous cosplayers, and many others.

Florida Film Festival (April 10 – 19, 2026)

Hosted by the Enzian Theater in Maitland, about 25 minutes north of our main tourism districts, the Florida Film Festival is an Oscar®-qualifying event that premieres the best in current, independent and international cinema. During the 10-day gala, you can enjoy more than 170 films and events, including appearances by filmmakers and celebrities, as well as handcrafted cocktails and a delicious menu from the on-site Eden Bar. (Pro tip: All food and beverages can be enjoyed inside the Enzian, too.)

Florida Puerto Rican Parade & Festival (April 25, 2026)

Part of a statewide initiative that promotes simultaneous parades in cities across Florida, Orlando’s Florida Puerto Rican Parade & Festival starts with a vibrant parade through downtown Orlando that culminates at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts’ outdoor Seneff Arts Plaza. This year’s theme is “Build the Future in Puerto Rico,” and all activities are dedicated to the Municipality of Yabucoa, aka the City of the New Dawn.

After the parade, enjoy Puerto Rican music, arts and crafts, and authentic dishes. Admission to this event is free, with food and beverages being available for purchase.

Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival (May 12 – 25, 2026)

Running two full weeks, the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival — aka Orlando Fringe — is an immersive cultural experience featuring hundreds of ticketed theatrical performances from local, national and international artists, plus a free outdoor music festival. Ivanhoe Village Main Street’s Loch Haven Park close to downtown Orlando serves as the event’s main campus, and select programming is also held at venues in nearby neighborhoods. Although many events are intended for mature audiences, the festival’s Kids Fringe series serves up family-friendly fun.

Concerts & Special Events at Kia Center (Throughout Spring)

Part of downtown Orlando’s Parramore District, the Kia Center is a world-class concert venue that attracts a galaxy of national and international superstars. (It’s also home to the NBA’s Orlando Magic, but more on them in a bit!)

Spring concerts and events coming in 2026 are set to include Mana (March 20), Third Day (March 22), TWICE (March 27), Demi Lovato (April 10), Camilo (April 17), Stars on Ice (April 18), Hardy (April 25), Alejandro Sanz (May 1), Laura Pausini (May 21), Carlos Vives (May 24), “Weird Al” Yankovic (May 29), Rosalía (June 8) and 5 Seconds of Summer (June 17). Road to 26 Matches (March 26 & 31, 2026)

Top men’s international soccer national teams will take the pitch in the United States on the “Road to 26” this March, with South America’s Brazil and Colombia facing off against Europe’s Croatia at Camping World Stadium in downtown Orlando’s West Lakes Market Street District. Matches will include Colombia vs. Croatia (March 26) and Croatia vs. Brazil (March 31) — get your tickets now.
