Independence Day Events in Orlando
Unless otherwise noted, all Independence Day events are scheduled for July 4, 2024.
Fireworks at the Fountain at Lake Eola Park
Take the party downtown for one of Orlando’s most beloved Independence Day celebrations, Fireworks at the Fountain. The festivities kick off at 4 p.m. with live entertainment, family-friendly fun, and food and drink available for purchase, followed by a spectacular 9:10 p.m. fireworks finale over Lake Eola.

You can also score a unique view of the downtown festivities during the 4th of July Sunset and Fireworks Paddle from Epic Paddle Adventures. The excursion begins at 7 p.m. in Orlando's Ivanhoe Village Main Street District and concludes at 10 p.m., with beautiful views of the sunset and fireworks from the water.
Liberty Weekend Concert
The Greater Aviation Authority will host its annual Liberty Weekend Concert in the new Terminal C of Orlando International Airport on June 29. Enjoy patriotic tunes and classic American favorites performed by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, with free admission and three hours of complimentary garage parking. (Parking validation does not apply for SunPass, E-PASS or Reserved parking.)
Lake Nona’s Great American Block Party
Ten minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO), Lake Nona Town Center’s Great American Block Party features family-friendly games, stilt walkers, live entertainment and music, an incredible food truck lineup, and a spectacular laser light show and more on June 29 — perfect for getting a head start on the holiday weekend.

Winter Garden Independence Day Celebration
Enjoy a healthy dose of Americana in the City of Winter Garden, which will host a free 8 a.m. pancake breakfast for kids followed by the 20th Annual All American Kids Parade. Pack it up for a lakefront Party in the Park in the evening, featuring live music, crafts and local vendors from 6 p.m. and fireworks over Lake Apopka at 9:15 p.m.

4th of July Celebration in Winter Park
Twenty minutes north of Orlando, the City of Winter Park will host their annual 4th of July Celebration from 9 – 11 a.m. Stay tuned for additional event details as they are announced, then head to Central Park to join in the fun.

Independence Day Celebration at The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art
Also in Winter Park, The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art will offer free admission during its Independence Day Celebration.
GLO Summer at Grande Lakes Orlando
Fireworks aren’t the only thing on the agenda during GLO Summer at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes and JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes. Enjoy a full weekend of festivities, including face painting, lawn games, a poolside steel drummer and special VIP areas and cabana packages from July 4 – 6. You can also catch an exclusive Independence Day fireworks spectacular on July 4 beginning at 9 p.m.

- Walt Disney World® Resort: From July 3 – 4, Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky will bring the red, white and blue to Magic Kingdom® Park, along with a simultaneous fireworks display over the Seven Seas Lagoon. You can also head to EPCOT® on Independence Day for The Heartbeat of Freedom, a patriotic fireworks display immediately following Luminous, The Symphony of Us.
- SeaWorld® Orlando: Enjoy a spirited fireworks display over SeaWorld Orlando’s central lake, featuring inspiring music and beautiful fireworks in celebration of America.
- LEGOLAND® Florida Resort: Join the Bricktastic Fourth of July celebration at LEGOLAND® Florida Theme Park, featuring extended park hours, celebratory food and beverage offerings, a DJ dance party and a dazzling Red, White & BOOM! fireworks finale over Lake Eloise. You can even score special 3D viewing glasses to transform the fireworks into LEGO® bricks.
4th of July Star Spangled Celebration
Rock out at the annual 4th of July Star Spangled Celebration at Promenade at Sunset Walk, featuring live musical performances, a laser light show, street performers, complimentary glow sticks, a confetti storm, and of course, fireworks. It all kicks off at 3 p.m. and will have you partying well after dark.
July 4th Celebration at Old Town Entertainment District
The Old Town Entertainment District will host their annual July 4th Celebration in partnership with Fun Spot America Kissimmee from 3 – 10 p.m. Stop by for rocking entertainment, including live music on the main stage starting at 6 p.m., and stay for the free fireworks spectacular at 9 p.m.
Celebration’s Independence Day Spectacular
Minutes from Walt Disney World® Resort, the picturesque town of Celebration invites you to enjoy live music, food, fun and fireworks from 5 – 10 p.m. It’s all part of their annual Independence Day Spectacular, with fireworks at 9:20 p.m.
Red Hot & Boom
If you prefer to celebrate early, the City of Altamonte Springs will host Red Hot & Boom at Crane’s Roost Park on July 3. Stop by between 5 – 10 p.m. for live music, food, and a sparkling fireworks finale over the lake.

Ride the Freedom Flyer at Fun Spot America Orlando
Soar like an eagle — an American bald eagle, of course — on the Fun Spot America Freedom Flyer. The suspended, inverted steel roller coaster is part of the lineup of family-friendly attractions at Fun Spot’s Orlando location on International Drive, which also features the patriotically painted HeadRush 360. Although Fun Spot’s Kissimmee location near Walt Disney World doesn’t have a Freedom Flyer, you can still fly like America’s mascot courtesy of its Screaming Eagles attraction.

Catch the Sentinel of Liberty himself at Universal Orlando Resort this Independence Day. When he isn’t battling the forces of Hydra, Captain America is part of the lineup of comic book legends who walk the streets of Marvel Super Hero Island® at Universal Islands of Adventure.
The Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom® Park
Who better to celebrate America’s independence with than past and present U.S. presidents? At Walt Disney World Resort, The Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom® Park provides a unique opportunity to see, and in some cases hear, animatronic versions of the nation’s leaders. In addition to the centerpiece, 25-minute experience, the attraction also offers a self-guided tour of various replicas and artifacts from U.S. history.
Drive a Real Tank at Tank America
There’s only one place in Florida where you can operate a tank without joining the military: Tank America, just east of downtown Orlando. Take command of 17 tons of power as you master the half-mile course from the driver’s seat of a real FV 433 tank.

The Orlando area provides many opportunities to see the American bald eagle in natural settings — particularly when you book passage on our boat tours and rides. Salute America’s Astronauts at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
Space exploration has been a major part of the American experience for more than half a century, and you can explore its past, present and future at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, about an hour from Orlando on Florida’s East Coast. Even if you’ve visited recently, you probably haven’t experienced its newest addition — Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex.
