Walt Disney World® Resort has year-round and seasonal fireworks displays at EPCOT® and Magic Kingdom® Park, plus additional nighttime shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®.

Magic Kingdom® Park

Start at Magic Kingdom® Park for one of the most iconic sights in town: shimmering fireworks over Cinderella Castle. Happily Ever After is a year-round, 18-minute spectacular that combines classic pyrotechnics with projections, lasers and music that highlight the magic of Disney stories. The projection mapping runs all the way down Main Street, U.S.A.® for a stunning view no matter where you stand.

VIP Upgrades: Book a fireworks dessert party inside Magic Kingdom Park or head next door to Disney’s Contemporary Resort to join the Celebration at the Top. Both premium options include sweets, libations, and a reserved fireworks viewing area. You can also book a private fireworks cruise for up to 10 people and catch all the magic from the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Magic Kingdom Park also has seasonal fireworks shows during its separately ticketed holiday events. At EPCOT®, Luminous the Symphony of Us lights up the sky over World Showcase Lagoon. More Ways to See Fireworks at Walt Disney World Resort

EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park aren’t the only places to see fireworks at Walt Disney World. You can spot Happily Ever After from several nearby resorts, including Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the aforementioned Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Fireworks are also visible from the Dahlia Lounge at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, and numerous nearby hotels. Many resorts even offer fireworks-view rooms.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios also has two separate nighttime shows with brief fireworks displays. Fantasmic is a full 30-minute musical with live entertainment, water projections, practical effects, puppetry and pyrotechnics, while Wonderful World of Animation features state-of-the-art projections and music with occasional pyrotechnics. You can also delight in a festive yuletide projection show on The Hollywood Tower Hotel during the holiday season and Disney Jollywood Nights.

Part of the Electric Ocean celebration, the show includes a breathtaking drone display followed by fireworks, lasers and an immersive, 360-degree finale on select dates from mid-June through early September.

Universal Epic Universe

Finally, Universal Epic Universe will debut their new nighttime spectacular, Universal Celestial Goodnight, on July 7, 2026. Universal Celestial Goodnight will pay tribute to the inspiring characters and adventures found within the portals of Universal Epic Universe with dancing fountains, breathtaking lighting effects and a spectacular fireworks finale.

Universal Orlando Resort also hosts special celebrations for the Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve, which may include fireworks and pyrotechnic displays.

Located in the heart of downtown Orlando, Lake Eola Park is an idyllic lakeside locale with frequent fireworks displays. It’s worth a visit at any time of the year, but if you’re looking for that extra sparkle, you’ll want to time your visit around one of the following events.

  • Fireworks at the Fountain (July): An outdoor Independence Day celebration with music, vendors, food and fireworks.
  • Come Out With Pride (October): An annual LGBTQ+ Pride celebration with a festival, parade, live entertainment and a fireworks finale.
  • IMMERSE (February): A multi-day arts and culture festival spanning 10 city blocks, culminating in a spectacular daytime fireworks show.

Designed to look like a small Florida town, the Old Town Entertainment District is home to unique shopping, dining and attractions minutes from Walt Disney World Resort. They host several free events throughout the year, including annual Independence Day and New Year’s Eve celebrations with fireworks.

Also near Walt Disney World, Promenade at Sunset Walk boasts free, family-friendly fireworks displays for Independence Day and New Year’s Eve. And while the following events don’t include fireworks, their annual St. Patrick’s Day, Cinco de Mayo and Memorial Day celebrations are not to be missed.

Celebration Town Center

The charming, pastel-hued town of Celebration hosts annual Independence Day and New Year’s Eve celebrations near Walt Disney World Resort.

Crane’s Roost Park

Just north of Orlando in Altamonte Springs, Crane’s Roost Park is home to a patriotic Red Hot & Boom fireworks display every July, lighting up the sky over a picturesque lakeside plaza. They also spread Christmas cheer with a festive choreographed fireworks display, live entertainment, holiday light displays and more during Light Up the Holidays.
