Most of Orlando’s world-famous theme parks will reopen ahead of Father’s Day weekend with new safety and sanitization measures designed to help protect you and Dad, including:

Walt Disney World® Resort will begin a phased reopening of its theme parks on July 11. Although that’s too late for Father’s Day 2020, you’ll definitely want to come back so Dad can experience the sheer wonder of Disney’s incredible adventures! In the meantime, you and Dad can enjoy Disney Springs®, which reopened on May 20.

With approximately 150 golf courses and academies in the Orlando area, dad won’t lack for places to hit the links while he’s here. Palmer also designed one of the three courses at Reunion Resort, with the others being dreamed up by Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus. Another Nicklaus course can be played at Grand Cypress Golf Club. Reopening June 8, the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus makes Orlando the Home of American Tennis, with 100 courts spread across 64 acres. More importantly, this state-of-the-art facility has professional-grade courts where players of all ages and skill levels can play for free, although pre-registration is required.

Throw in the facility’s educational and training opportunities, including private lessons, and you have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for dads who “love” tennis. The USTA National Campus is in Lake Nona, about 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport.
