Immersive Visual Art Experiences
Orlando Museum of Art
A leader in art education in Orlando, Orlando Museum of Art hosts a variety of youth programs perfect for kids of all ages.
On select Wednesdays, join a museum educator on a one-hour Stroller Tour through the galleries. Infants and toddlers are welcome, and parents can enjoy the exhibits in a welcoming environment. If you have older children, check out the Family Highlights Tour offered on the first Saturday of each month. These tours take you and your kids through the museum and provide engaging background and discussion on some of the most popular pieces.
In addition to specialized tours, the museum offers many activities where your kids can harness their own creativity and take a piece of their own artwork home. These include Art in the Afternoon, Art Adventures, and Family Days, which all feature themed workshops with hand-on activities. On select days, you can also participate in Sketching in the Galleries where all ages can be inspired by the masterpieces around them.
Crayola Experience
Located in The Florida Mall®, Crayola Experience features dozens of hands-on activities combining art and technology to immerse your children in the world of color. Some activities include a photobooth that turns your picture into a coloring sheet, interactive shows to explain the science behind Crayola’s art products, drip art, and the opportunity to name your own Crayon and print it on a wrapper.
