Educational STEAM Experiences
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
Space adventures don’t get more authentic than this. Located on Florida’s east coast about an hour from Orlando, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers an inspiring, hands-on journey through the past, present and future of space exploration. Stand nose-to-nose with the real Space Shuttle Atlantis, experience a powerful rocket launch simulation, and walk beneath the massive Saturn V moon rocket, among other unforgettable experiences.

Interactive exhibits bring NASA missions to life, starting with Heroes & Legends. This area includes the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame and Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex, showcasing next-gen spacecraft and innovations. You can also explore Mars mission concepts and, depending on the date of your visit, meet real astronauts or even witness history in the making at active launch sites. That’s what we call close encounters of the unbelievably real kind!
Orlando Science Center
Part of Loch Haven Park in the Ivanhoe Village Main Street District near downtown, Orlando Science Center invites you to view Florida’s largest publicly accessible refractor telescope up close at the Crosby Observatory. Planets, stars and other celestial objects are visible from this domed viewing station when visiting at the right times.
