Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards
Situated on more than 80 acres of vineyards in Clermont, about 35 minutes south of our main tourism districts, Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards is Florida’s largest winery. (See this blog’s cover image for a look at their vineyards.) They offer complimentary self-guided tours and tastings every day of the week. Sessions last about 45 minutes with seven varieties of wine available for sampling, and you can secure additional bottles of your favorites at their onsite wine shop.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant
At this acclaimed national winery’s location on International Drive, you can pair the full lineup of award-winning, hand-crafted Cooper’s Hawk wines with upscale casual dining in a warm, inviting setting. Or, just settle into their Napa-style Tasting Room & Artisanal Market, where you can stock up on your favorite vintages as well as related accessories. They have a second location in Waterford Lakes, about 15 minutes east of downtown Orlando.

Tavistock Wines
This small local label’s wines are available at numerous restaurants in Lake Nona, a forward-thinking community with exceptional dining and outdoor fun close to Orlando International Airport. Eateries where you can sample their vintages include HAVEN Kitchen and the MICHELIN Recommended BACÁN at Lake Nona Wave Hotel, plus Chroma Modern Bar + Kitchen, Canvas Restaurant & Market, Park Pizza & Brewing Company, and Boxi Park.

Quantum Leap Winery
Now in a new location in Orlando’s College Park Main Street district close to downtown, Quantum Leap imports sustainably grown wine from around the world before finishing it at their Orlando facility. The final product is then packaged in low-carbon-footprint vessels such as kegs, pouches and boxes. You can sample their wines before you buy, and special events are frequently on tap.

Wine Bar George
Florida is home to the first-ever master-sommelier-led wine bar courtesy of Wine Bar George at Disney Springs®, part of Walt Disney World® Resort. The expert in question is George Miliotes, who was part of the opening team for California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and has since established himself as an authority in wine circles. The venue, which also serves food, is reminiscent of a winemaker’s home estate.

VINIA Wine & Kitchen
Found in the heart of upscale Winter Park, just north of downtown Orlando and about 20 minutes from our tourism districts, VINIA Wine & Kitchen is a local favorite for romantic date nights and special celebrations. The husband-and-wife proprietors highlight their Italian and Brazilian heritage on the venue’s boutique wine list and European menu, which offers a variety of dishes that are perfect for sharing.

Swirlery Wine Bar
Part of downtown Orlando’s SODO Main Street District, Swirlery Wine Bar is a one-stop wine bar, tasting room and retail shop that focuses on providing guests with quality bottles of wine, either to-go or to enjoy in the shop. Wines by the glass and local brews are also available, and a sommelier is always on the floor to assist with purchases. They also offer community classes where you can learn about wine in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

RusTeak Restaurant & Wine Bar
With locations in downtown Orlando’s Thornton Park District and Ocoee near Winter Garden, RusTeak has grown culinarily and spiritually since its debut in 2012, as has their wine list — with ample Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence to prove it. The vintages go perfectly with RusTeak’s casual New American food menu, as do their craft cocktails and hyper-local beer.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
The Fleming’s brand is famous for a reason, and you have two opportunities to find out why in Orlando: one in Winter Park just north of downtown Orlando and a second near International Drive on Restaurant Row, close to Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld® Orlando. As the name implies, steak-lovers will appreciate dining here as much as wine enthusiasts, with the latter being able to choose from an extensive selection of vintages.

Vines Grille & Wine Bar
An Orlando original, Vines Grille & Wine Bar is part of Restaurant Row. In keeping with their name — and “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator Magazine — they’re passionate about wine, including vintages from boutique wineries and top global producers alike. They’re also no slouch when it comes to food, offering a chef-driven menu centered around steaks, chops and seafood.
The Imperial at Washburn Imports & Imperial Wine Bar
If you come to Washburn Imports’ location in Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village Main Street district during normal business hours, they’ll only sell you furniture via Washburn Imports. Come back in the evening, though, and you’ll discover one of Orlando’s most popular speakeasies, The Imperial, featuring a wide range of wine, craft beer and gourmet food. Both businesses have a second shared location in Sanford, about 25 minutes north of downtown Orlando, and are sister establishments to Imperial Wine Bar in Winter Park.

The Wine Room on Park Avenue
More than 150 hand-selected wines can be sampled at this Winter Park nightspot. What’s more, you can serve yourself from their state-of-the-art wine dispensers, which offer 1 oz., 2.5 oz. and 5 oz. pours. Bottles are also available for purchase, and it’s all complemented by a tapas-style food menu.
Eola Wine Company
Just across the street from Lake Eola Park in downtown’s Thornton Park district, this option focuses on small-production and boutique wineries, with 50-plus wines available by the glass and more than 100 retail selections, plus draft, bottled and canned beer. All beverages pair perfectly with their eclectic dinner and brunch menus.

Digress Wine
Formerly known as Cavanaugh’s, this bar and retail shop in College Park takes a different approach to wine pairings. Instead of making recommendations based on food types, they offer suggestions for the best wines to wash away a hard day at work, the best wines to conjure romance, and other fun ideas.
