Brave streets crawling with monsters and houses filled with your worst fears, including headliner houses themed after Sinners, Stranger Things 5 and the original Hellraiser trilogy. Then escape if you can with themed food and drink, specialty merchandise, haunted hotel offers, and more ways to scream at Universal Orlando Resort.

Howl-O-Scream

SeaWorld Orlando will unleash all-new terrors during Howl-O-Scream, a premium after-hours event with five haunted houses, six scare zones and two roaming hordes — not to mention electrifying entertainment, five all-new themed bars and some of the most terrifying roller coasters in Orlando.
Get the nightmare started with the Howl-O-Sprint 5K Run (Sept. 18), a heart-pounding tradition that includes free parking, a race through eerie landscapes, exclusive post-race Howl-O-Scream entry, and a Howl-O-Scream event ticket valid for a return visit any night to experience the whole event.
This event is designed for mature audiences and contains intense adult themes including blood, gore, and violence. Costumes are not permitted.
A Petrified Forest
Select Dates, Oct. 2 – 31, 2026
A Petrified Forest will return to Altamonte Springs this Halloween season, bringing three new haunted trails through real woodlands. Explore spooky entertainment, food trucks, laser tag and shopping while you wait for your return time, then brave the trails and see what horrors await beyond the trees. Want to really test your limits? Up the ante on a Total Eclipse night, where characters are allowed to touch you and a single glowstick is your only source of light.
While this homegrown haunt is generally geared toward adults (ages 12+), A Petrified Forest also has a Kids Day (Oct. 10) with trick-or-treating and games and an Accessibility Night (Oct. 14) to provide everyone a chance to move at their own pace.
