A Petrified Forest

Select Dates, Oct. 3 – Nov. 1, 2025

A Petrified Forest will return to Altamonte Springs this Halloween season, bringing three new haunted trails through real Central Florida woodlands. Explore spooky entertainment, food trucks, laser tag and shopping while you wait for your return time, then brave the trails and see what horrors await beyond the trees. Want to really test your limits? Up the ante on a Total Eclipse night, where characters are allowed to touch you and a single glowstick is your only source of light.

While this homegrown haunt is generally geared toward adults (ages 12+), A Petrified Forest also has a Kids Day (Oct. 11) with trick-or-treating and games and a Special Needs Night (Oct. 15) to provide everyone a chance to move at their own pace.

Victorian theater troupe Phantasmagoria returns to Dr. Phillips Center with their latest Halloween production, Hauntingly Whimsical Tales. You’ll be spellbound by the stories of iconic artist and author Edward Gorey, who would have been 100 years old this year. The one-of-a-kind show will feature storytelling, dance, puppetry, original music and more.

50th Anniversary Rocky Horror Picture Show (18+)
