Buzzworthy Hotel Bars in Orlando’s International Drive Entertainment District

Émilie Bar & Lounge at Hotel Landy Universal Blvd

Universal Orlando Resort Area | 7800 Universal Boulevard

Émilie Bar & Lounge isn’t your typical lobby lounge. The signature restaurant at Hotel Landy is named for Émilie Du Châtelet, a French mathematician whose work paved the way for one of my favorite inventions: the roller coaster. Sip on handcrafted beverages inspired by perpetual motion, like the rum-based Boomerang, sweet and spicy Vitesse, or bourbon-forward Levity — served smoking, of course. You’ll also find a selection of wine, beer, small plates and entrees to keep the momentum going well after the theme parks close.

Step outside on the terrace to enjoy cocktails, caviar and small plates while overlooking scenic lakes and gardens. The nature theme carries into the menu as well in the form of botanical cocktails, local seafood and more mouthwatering ways to taste the destination.
