Mobile Passport Control App Support

Orlando International Airport supports the Mobile Passport Control (MPC) app, an official government app that allows you to digitally store your passport information on your phone so that you can have speedy processing through Customs.

The app is secure, free, easy-to-use and does not require enrollment applications, background checks or fingerprints. Some conveniences include:

  • Shorter wait times in Customs
  • Groups up to 12 can be processed together
  • Ability to declare items in app

It’s important to note that MPC does not replace your passport, and you should always carry your travel documents with you.

For detailed instructions on how to use the MPC app, read more about it on the official site.

MCO Mobile App

MCO is Orlando International Airport’s free mobile app that works as a convenient guide where you can access conveniences such as parking reservations and step-by-step indoor navigation or find real-time updates to parking availability and checkpoint wait times. You can download the MCO app here.

Other features include:

  • MCO Reserve to book your time slot to clear security
  • Flight status notifications help you get to your gate on time
  • Dining and shopping options
  • Ground transportation options
  • TSA security checkpoint wait times
  • Parking reservations to guarantee your parking space
  • Current parking availability of on-site parking garages and lots
  • Step-by-step indoor navigation with location awareness to show the quickest way to get to where you need to go

MCO Reserve

If you don’t have TSA PreCheck or CLEAR+, you can book a dedicated time slot to go through airport security using the free MCO Reserve service.

On arrival at the dedicated MCO Reserve Lane, simply scan your MCO Reserve QR code and move directly to TSA to screen your boarding pass and ID and then proceed through the standard TSA security screening.

You may book your time slot up to seven days in advance. Terminals A, B and C all have dedicated MCO Reserve lanes with a limited number of slots available each day.

Make sure to double check security screening times as you plan.

Annie’s Space Sensory Room

To maximize comfort for travelers with sensory processing differences, MCO has Annie’s Space Sensory Room. The space is custom designed to provide therapeutic relief and beneficial multisensory experiences, which leads to reduced anxiety, increased awareness and attention, and improved mood and behavior.

MCO is also a Certified Autism Center, meaning more than 80% of airport staff completed autism and neurodiversity sensitivity training and are equipped to support travelers with hidden disabilities and sensory needs.

Annie’s Space Sensory Room is in Terminal A, Level 3. The room is open from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Traveler Program Support

Orlando International Airport also supports various Trusted Traveler Programs that make flying simpler for pre-approved travelers.

Please note: Depending on the timing of your trip, some travel programs may not be available during your arrival or departure. Please check with Orlando International Airport for up-to-the-minute information ahead of your visit.

Enhanced Passenger Process (EPP)

EPP is a Customs & Border Protection (CBP) program that uses facial biometrics to verify identities of U.S. citizens by matching faces to images in passports that are held in the CBP’s database. The process is automated, which makes for speedy processing.

EPP is free and voluntary to use with no need to enroll. Those who choose to opt-out of EPP can opt for the standard screening process.

TSA PreCheck

The TSA PreCheck Traveler’s Program is a great option for anyone looking to save time at the airport. PreCheck provides low-risk travelers with a smoother experience through security passenger checkpoints.

At participating airlines and U.S. airports, enrolled members can access dedicated screening lanes and travel with ease with no need to remove shoes, laptops, 3-1-1 liquids, belts or light jackets.

For those who are not enrolled yet, Orlando International Airport offers the public the opportunity to register for PreCheck through TSA approved partners.

Enrolling at the airport is even faster if travelers apply online beforehand, but you can also apply at any of the three CLEAR locations at MCO’s TSA checkpoints and enroll in five minutes or less. Most passengers receive their Known Traveler Number (KTN) within three to five days, just in time for their return trip in many cases.

TSA PreCheck enrollment requires proof of identity, proof of citizenship, fingerprint and photo capture. There is an $85 application fee, which covers five years of participation if approved. The program is open to U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.

It’s important to note that if there is no participating airport at your destination, TSA PreCheck will not be available.

CLEAR+

Like TSA PreCheck, CLEAR+ is a biometrics-based pre-clearance system that lets passengers enter dedicated security checkpoint lanes at participating airports, allowing you to bypass the regular lanes and get straight to the screening.

CLEAR+ enrollment is available at all three security checkpoints for Gates 70 – 129, and applicants can sign up on the CLEAR website or when they arrive at the airport.

Enrollment is $209 a year, or you can grab a friends and family package that covers up to three adults at $125 per person. Kids 17 and under can join family accounts for free. You can also bundle CLEAR+ with TSA PreCheck at no additional cost.

Global Entry Program

The Global Entry program is meant for frequent international flyers that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the U.S.

All applicants must undergo a background check and in-person interview. The application fee is $120, and membership lasts for five years. Global Entry also includes TSA PreCheck for members.

The Global Entry Enrollment center is located on Terminal C on Level 1 and is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Applications and interview scheduling must be done on the Global Entry website.

It takes four to six months to receive your membership after applying. Once active, Global Entry members may enter the U.S. by using automated kiosks located at select airports, including MCO.
