New Attractions at THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD

It’s not a theme park without rides! THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD has three new attractions to choose from, all based on characters and moments from the movies.

LEGO MOVIE WORLD - Unikitty's Disco Drop

THE LEGO® MOVIE™ Masters of Flight

The first of its kind at LEGOLAND Florida, and the first-ever in the world to embed a 180-degree turn in the ride experience, this marquee attraction will take you on a suspended journey aboard Emmet’s Triple Decker Couch. As you soar along, you’ll see what it’s like to fly through a world made entirely of LEGO bricks thanks to the ride’s full-dome virtual screen.

Plus, you can look forward to a different view depending on which of the three levels you’re on. Accordingly, you’ll want to ride this one again and again to make sure you’ve seen all of it!

Restrictions: Guests must be at least 40 inches tall. Guests between 40-52 inches and 3 to 8 years old must be accompanied by a supervising companion 14 years or older.

Unikitty’s Disco Drop

Unikitty is hosting the ultimate disco party, and you’re invited! After climbing aboard this brightly colored thrill ride, you’ll soar to the top of Cloud Cuckoo Land before dropping, spinning and bouncing back to earth.

Restrictions: Guests must be at least 40 inches tall. Guests between 40-48 inches and 3 to 6 years old must be accompanied by a supervising companion 14 years or older.

Battle of Bricksburg

DUPLO® aliens have invaded Bricksburg, and it's up to you to stop them on this aquatic adventure. As the boat ride progresses, you’ll fight the invaders by spraying water at targets, but beware: Other park-goers will be able to squirt you with water cannons that are mounted around the attraction’s perimeter. (In other words, you’re probably going to get wet!)

Restrictions: Guests under 48 inches or less than 6 years old must be accompanied by a supervising companion 16 years or older.

What’s more, THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD boasts Benny's Play-Ship: a towering, space-themed playground structure inspired by Benny’s spaceship from the films. It’s one of many interactive play zones peppered around LEGOLAND Florida Resort.

More to Explore at THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD

Rides aren’t the only new features at THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD. You can also enjoy themed shopping and dining, plus other unforgettable surprises!

First, there’s no more waiting for Taco Tuesday at THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD, because it’s home to Taco Everyday! In addition to tasty tacos inspired by THE LEGO MOVIE characters, this quick-service eatery features sweet treats and cold refreshments. Plus, kids’ tacos are available with naturally colored blue and pink shells — and LEGOLAND Florida is the exclusive source for the blue versions!

You can also stock up on THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD collectibles, LEGO sets and more at The Awesome Shop. Probably goes without saying, but yes: Everything here is awesome!

Last but not least, THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD offers meet-and-greets with fan-favorite characters from the movies, including Emmet, Wyldstyle and Benny, at Emmet’s Super Suite. The new land also features enormous LEGO models, including the iconic crane from the movie posters. Made with a combined total of nearly 300,000 LEGO bricks, the massive models aren’t just cool to look at — they also make for picture-perfect photo backdrops!

Build Your Own Fun at LEGOLAND Florida Resort

THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD is the newest reason to visit LEGOLAND Florida Resort, but it has lots of company. Just last year, for example, the park added The Great LEGO Race, where you’ll blast through a world made of LEGO bricks. And even though that ride is the first-ever virtual reality attraction designed just for kids, it’s a lot of fun for adults, too!

DiscoverThe Great LEGO Race

You’ll find more all-ages rides, activities and entertainment throughout the park, including MINILAND USA. Here, more than 32 million LEGO bricks combine to re-create world-famous cities — as well as numerous scenes and ships from the Star Wars™ saga. And at Cypress Gardens, which is a holdover from LEGOLAND Florida’s predecessor of the same name, you can take a self-guided tour through some of the state’s most luscious botanical gardens.

Don’t forget about LEGOLAND Water Park, either. Available as an upgrade to regular admission, it’s the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. More wet and wild adventures await at Pirate’s Cove courtesy of the park’s live water-ski show, Brickbeard’s Bounty.

Throw in seasonal events like October’s Brick or Treat and December’s Holidays at LEGOLAND, and it’s no wonder that so many Orlando visitors build their family vacations around LEGOLAND Florida Resort!
