Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™

Located at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ — Hogsmeade™ at Universal Islands of Adventure, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™ is one of the most immersive roller coasters at Universal Orlando.

Discover: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™

Combining masterful storytelling, next-generation roller-coaster technology, and fully realized environments and sets that include a real forest with more than 1,200 living trees, the ride also features Universal Orlando Resort’s most lifelike animated figure yet: Rubeus Hagrid™. With the gentle giant as your guide, you’ll travel deep into the Forbidden Forest surrounding Hogwarts™ castle for a wild flight packed with a menagerie of magical creatures pulled straight from the Harry Potter™ books and films.

The experience is truly magical. It also provides a true sense of thrilling adventure without the need of loops or crazy spins, with plenty of big surprises along the way.

And despite twists, turns and launch speeds that can reach 50 mph, the attraction is smooth enough that even those who are normally coaster-averse can enjoy it. There are no age restrictions, but guests must be at least 48 inches tall (121.9 cm) to ride.

As you hurl past obstacles — and even get stuck in a thicket of Devil’s Snare — you’ll have up-close encounters with some of the wizarding world’s rarest creatures, including a Centaur, Cornish Pixies and Fluffy the Three-Headed Dog, plus a beast that’s never been featured in a Harry Potter™ film. In other words, this is no time to start ignoring traditional pre-ride warnings about keeping arms and legs inside the vehicle.

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™ is the newest reason to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ at Universal Orlando Resort, but it’s far from the only reason. The adventures unfold over three distinct lands: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ — Hogsmeade™ at Universal Islands of Adventure, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ — Diagon Alley™ at Universal Studios Florida, and as of 2025, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ — Ministry of Magic™ at the brand-new Universal Epic Universe.

At Hogsmeade™, the Hagrid™ coaster joins Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™ and Flight of the Hippogriff™, while Diagon Alley™ has Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts™. A Universal Orlando Resort Park-to-Park admission ticket or Annual Pass will get you access to Hogwarts™ Express, which provides magical transport between the two lands. You can board it at King’s Cross Station in Diagon Alley™ (just look for Platform 9 3/4™) and Hogsmeade™ Station at Hogsmeade™.

At Ministry of Magic™, become part of the spellbinding action at Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry™, and experience amazing new interactive wand magic as you cast spells and interact with fantastic beasts on the streets of wizarding Paris.

Diagon Alley™, Hogsmeade™ and Ministry of Magic™ all offer themed entertainment, dining and shopping — not to mention a serious “wow” factor. Find your perfect wand at Ollivanders™. Stock up on the latest in wizarding wear at Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions. Interact with a goblin at Gringotts™ Money Exchange — after dodging the fire-breathing dragon on your way in, of course. And whatever you do, don’t skip the Butterbeer™.

These are just the start of the adventures waiting for you at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ at Universal Orlando Resort. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re headed back for another spin on Hagrid’s wild ride.
