Metro Orlando Area Definition

Metro Orlando is defined as a tri-county region consisting of Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties. The Orlando tri-county area consists of 2,538 square miles with more than 2 million residents.

Orlando itself is situated approximately 150 miles from the Florida-Georgia border to the north, 50 miles from the Atlantic Coast to the east, 75 miles from the Gulf Coast to the west, and 370 miles from the Florida Keys at the southern tip of the state.
