Boasting a theme park and a water park, LEGOLAND Florida is focused on kids and their families, but mature brick-lovers will also find a lot to see and do. True to its name, LEGOLAND isn’t just about providing passive entertainment, but inviting guests to become part of the action with countless opportunities to build their own LEGO creations.

Top 5 Attractions at LEGOLAND Theme Park

  1. The Great LEGO Race
  2. LEGO NINJAGO The Ride
  3. Merlin’s Challenge
  4. Flying School
  5. Coastersaurus

LEGOLAND features multiple lands, the newest of which, LEGO Ninjago World, opened in 2017 with LEGO Ninjago The Ride and themed activities for kids. You’ll find more kid-focused rides throughout the park, including LEGOLAND’s most recent addition, The Great LEGO Race, which is the world’s first virtual reality-enhanced roller coaster for children.

Other rides for thrill-seeking kids include Merlin’s Challenge, Flying School, The Quest of CHI, The Dragon and Coastersaurus. There’s plenty for small children too, particularly at DUPLO Valley, where all the rides and activities are geared toward the park’s youngest guests.

Additionally, history buffs will be interested to know that LEGOLAND was built on the former site of Florida’s first-ever theme park, Cypress Gardens. More importantly, the park went to great lengths to preserve its predecessor’s signature Botanical Gardens, which present a relaxing respite for all ages.

Entry to LEGOLAND’s on-site water park is available as a regular ticket add-on when visiting the main theme park. It’s filled with attractions that empower kids to build the ultimate aquatic adventure filled with splashing, sliding and fun — including getting drenched by a 300-gallon bucket at Joker Soaker!

Sticking with LEGO’s focus on creativity and building, Build-a-Boat gives kids the chance to build and race their own LEGO boats. Similarly, Build-a-Raft River challenges guests to build the biggest, best LEGO raft imaginable before setting sail on a lazy river.

For more relaxation, LEGO Wave Pool features waves that are mild enough for all ages to enjoy. Once they’re rested, little kids can have a blast at DUPLO Splash Safari, which features shorter slides and interactive DUPLO creatures.
