B Resort & Spa in the Disney Springs Resort Area will offer a new “Spring Into Savings” promotion, featuring savings of up to 15% on two-night stays or up to 20% on three-night stays. Hilton Orlando will offer “Escape at Hilton Orlando,” the world’s largest and tallest escape room experience, through Dec. 2022. This first of its kind virtual experience will transform the entire resort into an immersive mission of complex clues, challenges, augmented reality and surprising moments by way of an innovative app, allowing guests to embark on their mission from the palm of their hands.
ATTRACTIONS
Walt Disney World Resort’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the first-of-its-kind family thrill-coaster, will open at EPCOT’s new World Discovery neighborhood on May 27.
Walt Disney World Resort will begin reintroducing traditional character greetings. While not all locations will be available immediately, the reopening is anticipated in phases throughout the spring and early summer.
DINING & NIGHTLIFE
Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar will offer an Easter buffet on Sunday, April 17 featuring savory and sweet Latin dishes like Ropa Vieja Hash, Salmón Relleno, a create-your-own omelet station, Torreja de Piña, Bollos de Canela and more. The buffet will include non-alcoholic drinks and starts at $39.95 for adults and $15.95 for children under 12.
The Connections Café and Eatery, a new fast casual quick-service restaurant, will open its doors at EPCOT this spring. The new dining experience will embrace cultures from around the world as it draws inspiration from cuisines across the globe and will be the future home of Starbucks at EPCOT.
Bruno’s Oysters, a new concept coming this summer to Plant Street Market inside Crooked Can Brewing Company's Barrel Room, will serve seasonal oysters, including Florida oysters from Sublime Oyster Supply as well as East and West Coast varieties.
Norikase Hand Rolls, an eight-seat casual Japanese concept, will open at Plant Street Market this summer. The restaurant features high-quality fish flown in from Japan, as well as other upmarket ingredients like bluefin toro, California uni and Hokkaido scallops.

Renaissance Theatre Company will present Ain’t Done Bad April 21 – May 1 at the Ren located near downtown Orlando. Created by “So You Think You Can Dance” star Jakob Karr - and winner of the 2021 Orlando Fringe Festival Critics’ Choice Award - Ain’t Done Bad will take inspiration from the story told by Reba McIntire in her signature hit “Fancy” and feature the music of Orville Peck. The performance explores the experience of growing up, coming out and finding love, using dance to celebrate the journey of leaving shame behind to embrace your authentic, vulnerable voice, all without speaking a word.
Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida will return for a record-breaking 43 nights from Sept. 2 – Oct. 31. Halloween Horror Nights 2022 will feature 10 new, movie-quality haunted houses inspired by everything from cinematic greats to original abominations, five scare zones filled with creatures lunging from the shadows, and two live shows.
The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra announced its 2022-2023 30th Anniversary Season, including six concerts on the Classics Series and five concerts on the Pops Series, all to be held in the newly completed Steinmetz Hall. For the first time ever, the Classics Series will be offered in pairs, including a Saturday evening and a Sunday matinee performance for each concert.
The Orlando Science Center will host the 10th annual Science of Wine event on April 23, featuring a selection of over 150 wines at pouring stations with oenological learning, along with numerous food stations hosted by area restaurants interspersed among the wine stations.
The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE will return to Walt Disney World Resort July 14 – Nov.19, featuring over 25 Global Marketplaces located throughout the park, the return of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue Medicare with internationally recognized artists as well as local bands on the America Gardens Theatre stage, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, a Ratatouille-inspired scavenger hunt and more
