Eat for a Cause
Through Visit Orlando, $1 from every meal served during Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining benefits one or more local nonprofits that help people in need. Which means that, in addition to offering outstanding meals at outstanding prices, Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining provides you with the opportunity to support outstanding causes.
In 2020, Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining benefited Feed the Need Florida, which helps people struggling to access healthy food during the COVID-19 crisis. The effort is led by Orlando nonprofit 4Roots, along with a network of public and private partners, to receive produce directly from Florida farmers, preserve and create jobs, and prepare nutritious meals to be served throughout Central Florida.
Thanks to 2020’s program, Feed the Need Florida received $345,378 — the largest donation ever presented by Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining. As of August, the organization had already served nearly 1 million meals across the region, and those numbers have continued to grow in recent months. Accordingly, Visit Orlando and participating restaurants are proud to have supported such a worthy cause — and diners should be, too.
