Theme Park Holiday Festivals 2017 Mickey's Very Merry

Walt Disney World Resort

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party: On select nights from Nov. 9 to Dec. 22, the Magic Kingdom plays host to this all-ages celebration. Marvel at Cinderella's Castle sparkling in white lights, magical snowfall on Main Street, a Frozen show and Holiday Wishes dessert packages. You'll also enjoy live entertainment, fireworks and a holiday parade. This event requires an entry ticket.

Fireworks Holiday Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace: Also held at the Magic Kingdom, this party includes exclusive desserts and a fantastic view of the park's holiday fireworks. Entry requires a paid premium package in addition to regular park admission.

Epcot International Festival of the Holidays: From Nov. 19–Dec. 30, Epcot will feature 15 Holiday Kitchens serving seasonal sweets as part of regular park admission. The festivities also include the "Candlelight Processional," the "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth" fireworks show and live musical performances.

Frozen Ever After Dessert Party: Held on select nights throughout the year, this special Epcot event provides an unparalleled view of the park's IllumiNations holiday fireworks, plus 11 seasonal desserts. Entry requires a paid premium package in addition to regular park admission.

Theme Park Holiday Festivals 2017 Jingle Bell Jingle Jam

Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam!: Beginning Nov. 9, this multifaceted celebration, which features a nighttime spectacular and the stars of ABC's Prep & Landing tracking down Santa Claus, is included with regular admission to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Also included is Sunset Seasons Greetings, which features snow on Sunset Boulevard, billboards that come to life and the magical transformation of Hollywood Tower Hotel.

Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam! Holiday Dessert Party: Coinciding with Hollywood Studios' seasonal celebration, this party will feature holiday desserts, snacks and beverages, plus a VIP Disney character meet-and-greet and special view for evening shows. Entry requires a paid premium package in addition to regular park admission.

Universal Orlando Resort

Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Running from Nov. 18 to Jan. 6, this magical party transforms Universal Studios Florida's Diagon Alley and Universal's Islands of Adventure's Hogsmeade for the holidays. The festivities, which are included with regular park admission, also include live performances and a stunning projection wrap for Hogwarts.

Universal's Holiday Parade Featuring Macy's: Join Santa Claus, the Minions and characters from Madagascar and Shrek for Universal Studios' long-running holiday parade. It runs from Nov. 18 through Jan. 6 and is included with regular park admission. Also included are live performances by Mannheim Steamroller, who will perform their best-selling holiday hits on select days from Nov. 18 to Dec. 17.

The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular: From Nov. 18 to Jan. 6, Seuss Landing at Universal's Islands of Adventure transforms into the world of Grinchmas. As part of regular park admission, guests can enjoy a live, musical stage show and meet the Grinch in his lair.

The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast: Held at Islands of Adventure's Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous on select mornings Nov. 18 to Dec. 25, this character breakfast requires reservations and regular park admission.

SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration: This festival is included with regular admission to SeaWorld Orlando from Nov. 24 to Dec. 31. It includes the magical "Sea of Trees" and special performances. Kids will also have the chance to meet Santa Claus.

Theme Park Holiday Festivals 2017 SeaWorld Rudolph

Dinner With Rudolph: Also running from Nov. 24 to Dec. 31, but requiring a paid entry ticket in addition to regular park admission, the character dinner gives you and your family the chance to eat with Santa's favorite reindeer.

Legoland Florida Resort

Theme Park Holiday Festivals 2017 Legoland Bricktacular

Christmas Bricktacular: Legoland Florida's holiday festivities include a 30-foot Christmas tree made with Lego and Duplo blocks, a holiday-themed scavenger hunt for kids, building activities with Master Model Builders and character meet-and-greets. It's included with regular park admission on select days from Dec. 2–25.

Beyond the Theme Parks

Central Florida Ballet's "Pyrotechnic Nutcracker": The Central Florida Ballet's fire-enhanced, Cirque du Soleil-inspired take on The Nutcracker is known to many as the "pyrotechnic Nutcracker." It returns to the Orange County Convention Center's Linda Chapin Theater on Dec. 16-17.

Christmas at Bok Tower Gardens: Gorgeous and historical, Bok Tower Gardens, which is approximately 30 minutes from Orlando, offers an annual Holiday Home Tour at Pinewood Estate. Other festivities include carillon concerts, garden tours and poinsettia displays.

Christmas at the Leu House: See a reflection of Christmas past at the Leu House Museum at Harry P. Leu Gardens. Running from Nov. 10 through Jan. 3, 2018, the historic estate becomes a vintage celebration of the season with the help of local interior designers, holiday displays and multiple Christmas trees. The tour, which runs about 30 minutes, is included with regular garden admission.

Downtown for the Holidays: From Dec. 1 to Dec. 31, businesses in downtown Orlando will be decked out with festival lights and window decorations. A map of all participating businesses can be found online, or picked up at the Downtown Orlando Information Center. Additionally, starting with the official Tree Lighting Celebration on Dec. 1 through Jan. 6, 2018, Lake Eola Park's Eola Wonderland Christmas Tree comes alive with a synchronized light and music show. Several other holiday celebrations are planned, with a complete list of events and start times available from the Downtown Development Board's website.

Festival of Trees: Presented by Council of 101, this event transforms the Orlando Museum of Art (OMART) into a winter wonderland featuring sparkling trees and hand-designed holiday décor from Nov. 11–19. Furthermore, each piece is available for purchase. OMART is in Loch Haven Park, just 15 minutes from downtown Orlando.

Gaylord Palms Christmas 2017

ICE! Featuring Christmas Around the World: From Nov. 21 to Jan. 7, 2018, the Gaylord Palm Resort & Convention Center's annual holiday celebration will feature more than 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures depicting holiday scenes, as well as two-story ice slides. You can also watch skilled artisans making icy creations in the Frostbite Factory.

Light Up the Holidays at Cranes Roost Park: Starting at 5 p.m. on Dec. 2, Altamonte Springs kicks off the holiday season with this free event at Cranes Roost Park. Enjoy train rides, holiday performances and an evening fireworks display. Altamonte Springs is just 15 minutes north of downtown Orlando.

Santa Photo Experience at The Mall at Millenia: Starting at 6 p.m. on Nov. 3 through closing on Christmas Eve, The Mall at Millenia, which is close to Universal Orlando, will host one of the area's most popular Santa meet-and-greets. The event is free. Professional photography sessions are available, but guests are also invited to take their own photos.

Singing Christmas Trees: Running for three decades, this event combines a full orchestra, a choir, dance, drama and 250,000 lights displayed on two 45-foot Christmas trees. Performances will be held on Dec. 8–10 and Dec. 14–17 at First Baptist Orlando, which is close to downtown Orlando and also features a kid-friendly petting zoo in its Bethlehem Village.

Stetson Mansion Christmas Tour: Located about 40 minutes north of Orlando in DeLand, the Stetson Mansion is one of Florida's most historic, beautiful buildings. Tours are available throughout the year, but this special holiday edition explores the history of Christmas at the Victorian-style home.

Winter in the Park: During select hours from Nov. 18 through Jan. 7, 2018, Winter Park offers real ice skating at its holiday rink in Central Park's West Meadow. The city is located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Orlando and features Park Avenue.
