Ryan Devlin, a second-generation saxophonist and Orlando native, has had a love for music since he was a young child due to his father’s influence. He has played in The Florida All State Jazz band, The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and The Orlando Jazz Orchestra. He was also the 2017 winner of the Central Florida Jazz Society Scholarship.
Ryan completed his Masters degree in Jazz Performance at The New England Conservatory in Boston, MA under the instruction of saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi in 2023.
Ryan’s newest record is a statement! “Can you hear me now” on PM Records shows the direction that Ryan is going with his music. This album is a combination of modal, swing, blues, funk and free jazz all put into a 10 song package.
