Okapi is an avant-rock duo from Asheville, NC that employs upright bass, cello, and voice. Started in Chicago in 2012, Okapi is Scott Mitchell Gorski (upright bass and vocals) and Lindsey Miller (cello), Their music combines influences ranging from classical music, jazz, Middle Eastern music, to psychedelia phrasings.
