ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
CONSTRUCT::CONNECT showcases the work of Shannon Rae Lindsey and her multifaceted professional practice as an interdisciplinary artist, university educator, and academic art gallery director. Hybridity is a cornerstone for Lindsey’s approach as an artist embracing experimental practices and unconventional materials, as an educator to encourage critical thought and interdisciplinary research, and as a gallery director supporting exhibitions to connect practicing artists with students and the central Florida community. The combination of these roles uniquely inform one another to enrich her contributions to the community.
