Blues Brunch Feat. Avey Grouws Band

Happening in Judson’s Live – Dr. Phillips Center’s newest and most intimate music room.
Pop. Clink. Jam. Our Judson’s Live Brunch Series is part of a weekend well-lived. A mouthwatering menu meets top-shelf performances by musical masters of all genres – from Latin to jazz, bluegrass to R&B. Themes and artists change with every event, and no two weekends are ever the same

ABOUT THE BRUNCH EXPERIENCE

With a curated menu inspired by the arts center’s executive chef, Jason Klingensmith, your ticket to this two-hour brunch includes a selection of made-to-order dishes, plus access to our specialty serving stations. Juice, milk and coffee are included, while alcohol and signature drinks are available for purchase. This weekend’s menu features elevated takes on southern comfort food, including brisket, biscuits, buttermilk fried chicken and more.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

With its blistering guitar and emotional vocals, Avey Grouws Band blends blues, rock, roots and soul as powerfully as the Mississippi River runs through its stomping grounds of the Quad Cities of Iowa and Illinois. Led by powerhouse vocalist Jeni Grouws and ace guitar man Chris Avey, the two-time top ten Billboard charting band is known for its gritty sound and engaging shows. Sophomore album, Tell Tale Heart, was recorded in Nashville with Grammy award winner Casey Wasner. Released in 2021, it debuted at #7 on the Billboard Blues Album chart. Avey Grouws Band also hit #10 on the Billboard with their 2020 debut album, The Devil May Care.
