Orlando Weddings at Distinctive Hotels & Resorts
The Orlando area is home to numerous resorts featuring stunning architecture, impeccable service and knowledgeable staff who can help you plan every aspect of your wedding and reception. One of the most unique is downtown’s Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando. Celebrated as an experience in art and music, it offers a variety of wedding packages that complement the venue’s artistic aesthetic.
Naturally, Orlando’s International Drive area has several compelling options, including The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. Here, you can choose from a citrus garden, the outdoor Tuscany Terrace, the Da Vinci lawn and other luxurious indoor and outdoor spaces. Nearby, the Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive features a robust selection of outdoor and indoor settings, from tropical landscapes to elegant ballrooms.
If you prefer to hold your ceremony closer to Walt Disney World Resort, consider the Waldorf Astoria Orlando. The first Waldorf Astoria to be built outside of New York City, this property offers the stylish sophistication of celebrated amenities and impeccable, personalized service, with settings that range from an intimate, formal garden to a private island.
Orlando Weddings at Romantic Gardens & Outdoor Spaces
Orlando’s gorgeous nature can serve as the perfect backdrop for a storybook wedding. Some of our most popular options in that regard can be found in the charming city of Winter Park, about 20 minutes north of downtown Orlando.
For example, the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens is situated on a 3-acre pastoral oasis. Winter Park’s Casa Feliz — a restored Spanish farmhouse with outdoor spaces — is a beautiful venue for wedding receptions of up to 120 people, while Kraft Azalea Garden boasts has more than 5 acres of cultivated gardens on the shore of Lake Maitland.
Closer to downtown Orlando, Harry P. Leu Gardens offers more than 50 acres of verdant grounds, resulting in intimate wedding gatherings in fields of flowers. And the Historic Dubsdread Ballroom and Courtyard has been a favorite choice for brides since 1924, hosting stunning outdoor ceremonies on a brick courtyard surrounded by majestic oak trees and the manicured lawns of Dubsdread Golf Course.
Orlando Weddings Steeped With Culture & Tradition
Located in downtown Orlando, the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is the crown jewel of our performing arts scene, and it also makes an exceptional wedding venue. The facility will connect you with full-service catering teams and an experienced event staff to assist with planning everything from intimate parties to large-scale events.
Also in downtown Orlando, the Orange County Regional History Center dates back to 1927. Completely restored, the venue includes a spacious atrium and Heritage Square Park, an outdoor, tree-lined park that includes bronze statues of alligators and a 15-foot postcard depicting Central Florida’s past.
About 10 minutes from downtown in Loch Haven Park, Orlando Museum of Art is the quintessential setting for an artistic wedding. It has room for up to 500 in spacious art galleries filled with natural light and marble floors, and it can also host outdoor ceremonies. They even offer wedding packages directly through their website.
