Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort & 2 Magical Dining Month Restaurants
A tropical escape within a stone's throw of Walt Disney World® Resort, the enormous Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort features a 3-acre aquatic paradise with a cascading waterfall and five pools, a Balinese spa with two indoor gardens, and Camp Dolphin, where kids ages 4 to 12 are happily entertained while their parents delight in the many onsite dining options.
That list includes Il Mulino New York Trattoria and Todd English's bluezoo, both of which are superb Magical Dining Month choices. In fact, they're so good, you might want to stay two nights and try them both!
Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress & Hemingway's Restaurant
Sprawled across 1,500 lush acres in the heart of Orlando's theme park zone, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is perfect for the traveler who wants to do everything — or nothing at all. Tennis courts, bike trails, paddle boats, climbing walls and putting greens all provide active diversions, while the lagoon-style pool with its scenic grotto invites nothing but regretless laziness.
After a day in the sun, dinner is served. Paying culinary homage to one of the legends of literature, Hemingway's Restaurant serves up a menu with a Key West flair. In particular, their "Cayo Hueso" Crab Cakes and Key Lime Tart are not to be missed.
Grand Bohemian Hotel & The Boheme
Located in downtown Orlando, steps from the grand Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, the Grand Bohemian Hotel features elegant accommodations, a petite onsite spa, a rooftop pool and an immeasurable array of original artworks speckled throughout the hotel and onsite gallery.
Artistry can also be found at The Boheme, the ground-floor restaurant known for its luxe décor, decadent flavors and beautifully plated cuisine. My advice? Culminate your Magical Dining Month feast with the Nutella Lava Cake, and then stroll a few steps toward the lobby's Bösendorfer Lounge for a night of live music and fine cocktails.
Bohemian Hotel Celebration & Lakeside Bar + Grill
The town of Celebration, with its perfectly manicured lawns, all-American architecture and quaint downtown main streets, is such a sweet little spot for an easy getaway. Anchor your visit at Bohemian Hotel Celebration, a sister to downtown Orlando's Grand Bohemian that sits perched on one end of Lake Rianhard in the heart of Celebration Town Center.
Besides its proximity to walking trails, cute shops and horse-drawn carriage rides, Bohemian Hotel Celebration houses Lakeside Bar + Grill. The latter features a bevy of tempting dishes on its Magical Dining Month menu, including Herb-Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Tomato and Bacon Jam Bruschetta, and Rustic Apple Galette.
Reunion Resort & Eleven
If a night capped off with sunset views and exploding fireworks sounds like perfection, steer yourself to Reunion Resort, a facility the size of a small city with a massive water park, three golf courses, a spa, a bocce ball court and six tennis courts.
Another highlight is Eleven, a restaurant with one of the best rooftop dining experiences in Central Florida. Opt for a late reservation during Magical Dining Month and you'll not only be treated to an amazing meal, but also incredible views thanks to the Disney fireworks that light up the sky a short distance away.
Four Seasons Resort Orlando & Ravello
No luxurious detail or lavish facet was omitted when the 443-room Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort opened four years ago. Guests feel like VIPs as they float down the lazy river and nap in plush loungers inside the resort's 5-acre Explorer Island, which houses pools, waterslides, a climbing wall and a splash zone. The property also boasts a spa with an adults-only pool, and rooftop views of fireworks at Walt Disney World, which is accessible via complimentary luxury motor coaches that depart the resort every 30 minutes.
During Magical Dining Month, check out the Four Seasons' Ravello, which is offering rustic Italian fare such as Calamari, Reginette Pasta and, for dessert, Torta Della Nonna.
Universal Orlando Resort Onsite Hotels & Restaurants
At Universal Orlando® Resort, four acclaimed restaurants are participating in Magical Dining Month. What's more, all four are in onsite resorts that can turn any staycation into an adventure.
Options include Amatista Cookhouse at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando, Islands Dining Room at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando, The Kitchen at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando, and Mama Della's Ristorante at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando. In addition to Universal Orlando Resort's theme parks, all four provide immediate access to Universal CityWalk.
