Get more details on the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Disney.

All hail Disney's new Festival of Fantasy Parade! Walt Disney World® Resort has officially debuted its newest daily display of afternoon pageantry at the Magic Kingdom® Park. And this new spectacle of Disney creativity and innovation does not disappoint.

With so much to take in between the enormous floats, celebrity characters, colorful performers and a fire-breathing dragon, we've listed our top 5 festival features you don't want to miss.

The Royal Court

The parade kicks off with an impressive display of pageantry and costuming with all your favorite royal characters from Disney's biggest hit films. And prominently featured on this float are the famed sisters from the Academy Award winning animated feature, "Frozen" - Anna and Elsa. It's the only place, for now, to see them outside of their meet and greets at the Norway pavilion at Epcot®.

The Dancers

The talented dancers accompanying each float deliver a Broadway quality performance. From the kilted dancers performing the Scottish jig leading the "Brave" float to the "Newsies"-inspired Lost Boys accompanying the "Peter Pan" float, the bright costumes and the well-executed choreography is inspiring as well as entertaining.

Senior Show Director Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Creative Entertainment Randy Wojcik, stated at the debut, "The performers and cast are the heart and soul of the Festival of Fantasy and will deliver the magical essence of this parade in a big way every day for Magic Kingdom guests."

Fire-Breathing Dragon

In anticipation for the May 30, 2014 release of Disney's feature film "Maleficent," an entire section of the parade is dedicated to the honor of iconic villain from the classic story of "Sleeping Beauty."

The costumes feature an impressive steampunk design which offers a refreshing way to bring a Victorian-themed sci-fi aspect of this story to life. And it's all anchored by a giant, fire-breathing dragon that in itself is one of the major highlights of the parade.

Colorful Floats and Costumes

The floats are vibrant with color and come alive with kinetic elements that seemingly jump out at you along the parade route. Performers accompanying each float donning colorful costumes, that fuse fashion and fun, are memorable elements not to be missed.

Wojcik says that "Combining modern technology with fresh creative design delivers a new twist on the Disney classics that brings these stories to life for a whole new generation to enjoy as well as our older fans who will always be kids at heart."

Favorite Characters

Even with all the original elements for this new parade, you can still expect to see all your favorite Disney characters including Mickey and Minnie flying high aboard the finale float which is another amazing show-stopper.

From Beauty and Beast, Peter Pan and Wendy, Princess Ariel to Merida from "Brave" and the characters from "Tangled" are all represented in a classic meets new Disney fairytales that will enchant and entertain visitors every day at the Magic Kingdom.
