Walt Disney World® Resort, Universal Orlando® Resort (Pictured) and SeaWorld® Orlando Have Special Events in January

Through Feb. 25: Epcot® International Festival of the Arts at Walt Disney World® Resort

Included with regular admission, this colorful event at Walt Disney World Resort's Epcot presents a senses-shattering salute to visual, performing and even culinary arts, with the latter being served up by gourmet Food Studios throughout the park.

Feb. 2-3: Elmo's Birthday Weekend at SeaWorld® Orlando

One of Sesame Street's most popular characters takes center stage for this event, which features an interactive DJ dance party, games and surprise visitors, all included with regular admission to SeaWorld. It's the perfect warmup to the debut of the park's all-new Sesame Street land this spring!

Feb. 9 – April 4: Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando® Resort

Head to Universal Studios FloridaTM at Universal Orlando Resort for the Orlando version of New Orleans' biggest party. Included with regular admission, this celebration offers a nightly parade, authentic Cajun cuisine, live music, a re-creation of the Big Easy's French Quarter — and plenty of beads!

Feb. 9 – May 5: Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld Orlando

Focusing on "street food" dishes from around the globe plus craft beer, this tasty, weekends-only event is included with regular admission. It also hosts popular musical performers, including standouts from rock, country, Latin and more.

Feb. 9-17: Orlando Philharmonic Presents Ferdinand the Bull

Hosted by The Plaza Live, about 10 minutes east of downtown Orlando, this production features the music of George Bizet's Carmen as presented by the Orlando Philharmonic's string family.

Feb. 23-24: Downtown Food & Wine Fest

Held adjacent to Lake Eola on Robinson Street, this tasty, ticketed-event features dishes from more than 30 of Orlando’s top restaurants, 50 domestic and international wines, and live entertainment.

Through Feb. 3: Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities

Also known as the Zora! Festival, this event's Outdoor Festival of the Arts in Historic Eatonville, about 30 minutes north of downtown Orlando, is free for all on Feb. 1, as well as free for students Feb. 2-3. (Current I.D. required for middle- and high-school students.) It caps off a week-long celebration of education, arts, culture and the titular author.
