Preparing Your Business for Hurricane Season

June marks the start of hurricane season. In the event of a hurricane requiring evacuation of Florida's coastal areas, Visit Orlando works closely with the Orange County Office of Emergency Management and our accommodations partners to gather our destination’s guestroom inventory. If you need to update your company’s emergency contact on file, please notify member relations at MemberRelations@visitorlando.com as soon as possible.

In addition, your business can access Orange County’s Hurricane Safety Guide for resources on how to make a plan and take steps to ensure you are ready for any potential storm.

Have a Special Offer for Father’s Day?

If your business has special Father’s Day offers or events coming up, send details to Nate.Shelton@VisitOrlando.com for possible inclusion on our blog or social media channels.

Update Your Offers

Visit Orlando has identified special offers as one of the key pieces of information travelers will be looking for as they begin to think about getaways and vacations. This could be a buy one, get one free, kids eat free, no resort fee, family 4-pack, etc.

To enhance that experience, Visit Orlando is encouraging members to go to the portal and add or update their offers in Visit Orlando Deals, Florida Resident and Military. If you have questions on updating your offers in the Member Portal, please contact MemberRelations@visitorlando.com. And, as we know some of our members are offering Healthcare & First Responder offers, we will be including these as well. The Healthcare & First Responder offers can be emailed to Molly.Donovan@visitorlando.com.
