Theme Park Events in Orlando for July
H2O Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon in Orlando
Select Nights Through Aug. 24: Disney H2O Glow Nights
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon® Water Park at Walt Disney World® Resort hosts the ultimate glow party during this summertime event, which is included with park admission. Starring Toy Story’s Rex and his pals, the celebration includes special lighting and entertainment, character greetings, a DJ dance party, an adult-exclusive bar area, and access to all attractions.
July 3-4: LEGOLAND® Florida Resort’s Red, White & BOOM!
Included with park admission, LEGOLAND Florida Resort’s Independence Day celebration features a spectacular fireworks show with special glasses that make it look like LEGO® bricks are exploding in the sky. The entire month of July also features seasonal sweets for brick fans to enjoy!
July 4: Fourth of July at Walt Disney World Resort
Walt Disney World is celebrating Independence Day the right way: with three huge fireworks celebrations at three different parks! They include “Disney’s Celebrate America — a Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” at Magic Kingdom® Park, “Star Wars — A Galactic Spectacular” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® and “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” at Epcot®. All this and more is included with park admission.
Select Days, July 13 – Aug. 4: The LEGO® MOVIE™ Days
LEGOLAND Florida celebrates THE LEGO® MOVIE™ franchise with special activities each weekend of the event. Enjoy working together to build a mystery LEGO mosaic; meeting THE LEGO® MOVIE™ characters Emmet, Wyldstyle and a new, exclusive character meet and greet with Rex Dangervest; and taking part in a huge scavenger hunt — all included with park admission!
Featured Events in Orlando for July
July 5-7: Halo: Outpost Discovery
Halo: Outpost Discovery comes to Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center this summer, bringing the beloved Halo video game universe to life. Fans can step into an immersive Halo experience with exhibits, vendors and attractions, along with interactive activities such as a virtual-reality Spartan training ground, a flight simulator, Halo-themed laser tag and more. Tickets start at $55 for a single-day pass.
July 31: 2019 Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star Game
Hosted by Orlando City Stadium, this match will showcase the best of MLS facing off against Club Atletico de Madrid from Spain. Tickets for the event, which draws fans from across the country, are being sold through a lottery, and ticket prices vary.

July 3: Red Hot & Boom
Head to Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs, about 20 minutes north of downtown Orlando, for this pre-Independence Day celebration with live entertainment, children’s activities, vendor booths, food and drinks, and a 25-minute fireworks display that’s synchronized with a mix of patriotic music and today’s top hits.
July 3-4: Red White & Brew
At Wall St. Plaza in downtown Orlando, join the seven member bars in a patriotic celebration that includes two nights of block parties with great food, live music, outdoor games and much more.
July 4-7: Boxi Park's 4th of July Weekend Extravaganza
This weekend-long Independence Day celebration will feature a barbecue cookout, drink specials, live entertainment and a fireworks spectacular at 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 9. Boxi Park is in Lake Nona, about 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport.
July 4: Fireworks at the Fountain
Held at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando, this Fourth of July event offers children’s activities, live music, food and beverages, and fireworks, the latter of which start at 9:15 p.m.
July 4: Watermelon 5K
Get an early start on Independence Day fun by taking part in a 5K around the city of Winter Park at 7 a.m., followed by a watermelon-eating contest at 8 a.m. Admission is $30.
July 4: Winter Park’s 4th of July Celebration
Become a part of a 23-year tradition and come to Winter Park’s Central Park for live music, a Family Fun Program Kids Zone, and free hotdogs, watermelon and water. Arrive a little earlier in the day and stop by The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, which is celebrating Independence Day with free admission!
Performing Arts in Orlando for July
Select nights, July 5-28: Flashdance: The Musical
Based on the 1983 film, Flashdance: The Musical is an inspiring hit that makes its way to Orlando this July. It’s hosted by the Garden Theatre in downtown Winter Garden.
July 13-14: PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue”
Held at Addition Financial Arena, formerly known as CFE Arena, Nickelodeon’s Paw Patrol Live! comes to Orlando. Join Paw Patrol characters Marshall, Chase, Skye and more as they race to rescue the missing Mayor Goodway. This interactive performance serves as a great introduction to live theater for kids. Tickets start at $21.

All Orlando City Soccer Club home games are played at Exploria Stadium in downtown Orlando.
