New Attractions at Universal Orlando Resort

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure: Calling all wizards — and Muggles™, too! Set to debut on June 13, this thrilling new ride is coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ — Hogsmeade™ at Universal Islands of Adventure. The roller coaster journey will take you deep into the Forbidden Forest beyond the grounds of Hogwarts™, where you’ll soar past towering trees, magical creatures and all manner of wondrous surprises.

Fast & Furious — Supercharged: In 2018, Universal Studios Florida gained this new attraction. Based on the hit movies, it sends you on a white-knuckle race with members of “the family.” What’s more, it features an authentic recreation of the crew’s garage headquarters, including 16 vehicle replicas created just for this ride!

Also, Universal Orlando will gain brand-new accommodation options when Universal’s Endless Summer Resort — Surfside Inn and Suites opens on June 27.

New Attractions at Walt Disney World Resort

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy: On March 31, the star of Disney•Pixar’s blockbuster Cars franchise roared into Disney’s Hollywood Studios for this fast-paced show. During the 10-minute experience, Lightning takes the stage to share knowledge from his racing career — until things go a little off track. Good thing that Mater, Cruz Ramirez and other fan-favorite characters from Radiator Springs are there to lend a helping hand!

Toy Story Land: If it’s been a year or more since your last visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, keep in mind that the park is also home to this new area. Opened in June 2018, and based on the hit Disney•Pixar films, Toy Story Land will make you feel as if you’ve been shrunk to the size of a toy with themed attractions, dining, shopping and more.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge: For the first time ever, there’s a place where you can live your very own Star Wars story. A place where you can fly the galaxy’s most legendary ship, the Millennium Falcon. A place where you’ll find yourself caught in a battle between the First Order and the Resistance. With a whole new land, you can finally live your adventure in a galaxy far, far away. Welcome to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, opening August 29, 2019, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
