Female Heroes at Orlando Theme Parks

Walt Disney World® Resort

After decades of being auctioned at Magic Kingdom® Park’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, the famous Redhead — now officially known as Redd — made headlines in 2018 when she flipped the script by becoming the auctioneer. Now that she’s in charge, the auction deals in objects and livestock instead of humans. What’s more, Redd isn’t the only powerful female at Disney’s premier Orlando theme park.

Elsewhere in EPCOT, you can look forward to seeing grande dames like Mulan, Princess Jasmine, Snow White, Mary Poppins and Daisy Duck, among others.

If you didn’t get enough of Ariel at Magic Kingdom, head to Disney’s Hollywood Studios® for the Voyage of the Little Mermaid attraction. Finally, Pocahontas and Doc McStuffins appear at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.
