Through April 4: Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando Resort

You’re almost out of time to experience Orlando’s version of New Orleans’ biggest party! Included with admission to Universal Studios Florida at Universal Orlando Resort, this celebration offers a nightly parade, authentic Cajun cuisine, live music, a re-creation of the Big Easy’s French Quarter — and plenty of beads!

Weekends Through May 5: Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld® Orlando

Included with admission to SeaWorld, this tasty, weekends-only event focuses on “street food” dishes from around the globe, plus local and imported craft beer. It also hosts concerts from popular musicians, including standouts from rock, country, Latin and more.

Through June 3: Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival

This 90-day spring celebration at Walt Disney World® Resort invites nature-lovers of all ages to marvel at Disney-themed topiaries, enjoy garden-themed food and beverages, and groove to chart-topping musicians at the “Garden Rocks” concert series. It’s included with admission to Epcot.

April 22: Celebrate Earth Day at SeaWorld Orlando

Celebrate Earth Day at SeaWorld with the park's "passport to adventure" program. On April 22, educators will be on hand to answer questions about nature and ways you can help protect our planet. By interacting with the educators, you'll receive a stamp on your passport, which can be picked up at Pacific Pointe Preserve®, Turtle Trek®, Stingray Lagoon, Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin®, Shamu® Underwater and Wild Arctic. After completing four locations, you'll receive a special surprise commemorating this annual celebration!

April 6-7: Spring Fiesta in the Park

Offering free admission, this two-day event will take place at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando. It’s scheduled to include a myriad of booths offering regional arts and crafts, plus live entertainment other and goodies.

April 12-21: Florida Film Festival

Accredited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, this annual festival welcomes over 25,000 guests, including more than 100 visiting directors, producers and talent. In addition to showcasing the best in current, cutting-edge cinema, it features indulgent food and wine experiences, as well as industry parties and special events. Show times and admission varies, with all screenings taking place at the Enzian Theater in Maitland, 20 minutes north of downtown Orlando.

April 21-27: 11th Annual Winter Park Paint Out Plein Air Festival

Hosted by the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens in Winter Park, about 20 minutes from downtown Orlando, this event features 25 acclaimed plein air artists, who will be creating art at the museum and nearby locations. Admission to the museum, sculpture gardens, gallery and painting demonstrations is free during the festival, and created artwork will be available for purchase.

Through April 21: LUZIA by Cirque du Soleil

Featuring a surrealistic series of visual surprises and acrobatic performances, this event at The Florida Mall will transport you to a magical version of Mexico based on tradition and modernity.

April 16-21: Dear Evan Hansen

Catch this production of the Tony Award-winning contemporary musical at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Orlando.

April 26: Get Your Jazz On

Enjoy a live jazz concert under the stars at The Alfond Inn in Winter Park. Restricted to guests 21 and up, the event will feature unlimited select wine, beer, spirits and seasonally blended cocktails, as well as a roasted pig, vegetarian selections and other food options.

April 26: Velvet Sessions: The Psychedelic Furs

Billed as a rock ‘n’ roll cocktail party, Velvet Sessions at Hard Rock Hotel® at Universal Orlando includes complimentary themed cocktails and finger foods, in addition to concerts by legendary artists. This edition features The Psychedelic Furs, best known for hits like “Pretty in Pink,” “Love My Way” and others.

Through April 8: Hoops Madness at ICON Park

Sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings, this event is transforming ICON Park’s courtyard into a basketball fan’s dream with contests, meet-and-greets, and 3-point and free-throw competitions.

April 4: Orlando Museum of Art’s 1st Thursdays: Florida Grown

On the first Thursday of each month, discover local artists, listen to live music, and mingle with an eclectic mix of people at the Orlando Museum of Art. This edition will focus on the spirit of living and creating artwork in Florida.

April 5: Movies at Leu Gardens Featuring Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Every month from February through June and August through December, weather permitting, Harry P. Leu Gardens hosts a current or classic film on their 32-foot, outdoor screen, with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom taking the spotlight in April. Grilled items, popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase, and you’re welcome to bring your own food, beverages (including alcohol) and seating. Admission is free.

April 17: 34th Annual Taste of Winter Park

Sample food from some of Winter Park’s most popular dining establishments, including The Ravenous Pig, Prato and many others, at this paid event at the Winter Park Farmers’ Market.

April 20: 14th Annual Central Florida Earth Day

Learn how to help the planet while having fun at this free celebration, showcasing music, guest speakers and family-friendly activities at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando.
