Romantic Restaurants in Orlando’s Tourism District
Romantic restaurants have a way of making couples feel as if they’ve been transported to another world — and few Orlando eateries accomplish this trick quite as well as Hemingway’s. Located inside Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress and minutes from Walt Disney World® Resort, it features tropical décor and fresh Florida cuisine designed to whisk you away to Key West.

Under the supervision of Chef David Didzunas, this restaurant serves many dishes that were loved by its namesake author, Ernest Hemmingway, as well as one of “Papa’s” favorite libations, the Papa Doble. Save room for dessert, too, or risk missing out on their famous Basked Alaska-style Key Lime Pie!
Seating can play an important role in creating a cozy and intimate space for a romantic dinner, and Ocean Prime offers a handful of fantastic booths inside The Lounge. What’s more, this area provides a front-row view of the restaurant’s live music, which is available Thursdays through Saturdays starting at 6 p.m. nightly.
As its name implies, Ocean Prime is best known for seafood, including a Shellfish “Cobb” Salad, “Smoking” Shellfish Tower, sushi, fresh catches, lobster and more. However, they’ve also been named one of the city’s best steakhouses by the Orlando Sentinel, and their wine selection has been honored by Wine Spectator. Ocean Prime is part of Orlando’s Restaurant Row dining district, close to International Drive and minutes from Universal Orlando Resort.
Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar
Located at Pointe Orlando on International Drive, Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar has an interior dining room and dance hall designed to make you feel as if you’ve just wandered into an outdoor courtyard in the heart of 1950s-era Havana. Once seated, you’ll embark on an epicurean journey courtesy of James Beard Award-winning Chef Guillermo Pernot’s delectable menu, which includes traditional favorites and “Nuevo Cubano” cuisine — not to mention 15 different varieties of mojitos.

Italian cuisine is practically synonymous with romance, and it's served in an equally romantic setting at Prato, an acclaimed eatery in Winter Park about 25 minutes north of our tourism district. You’ll be treated to great food and ambience all night, and the eatery's year-round patio seating invites you to enjoy your meal under the stars in one of Central Florida’s most romantic towns.

It’s one of two local restaurants headed by James Beard Award-nominated Chef Brandon McGlamery, with the other being Luke’s Kitchen in nearby Maitland. Both are worthy of date night!
Le Coq au Vin
Few things say “romance” like French restaurants, and since 1976, Le Coq au Vin has served acclaimed French fare in the comfortable, cozy setting of a lovingly upkept home in downtown Orlando’s SoDo district. Here, romance starts with the proprietors: Chef Reimund Pitz and his wife, Sandy, who pour their hearts into every dish and glass at their acclaimed eatery.

French cuisine is Le Coq au Vin’s sole focus, but they pride themselves on putting a fresh twist on legendary recipes by incorporating new world flavors.
