1. The Hall of Presidents at Disney's Magic Kingdom

Who better to celebrate America's independence with than all 45 past and present U.S. presidents? The Hall of Presidents at Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom provides a unique opportunity to see, and in some cases hear, animatronic versions of the nation's leaders, from George Washington to Donald J. Trump. In addition to the centerpiece, 25-minute experience, the attraction also offers a self-guided tour of various replicas and artifacts from U.S. history.

2. Meet Captain America at Universal's Islands of Adventure

Come face-to-face the Sentinel of Liberty himself at Universal Orlando Resort this Independence Day! When he isn't battling the forces of Hydra, Captain America is part of the lineup of comic book legends who walk the streets of Marvel Super Hero Island at Universal's Islands of Adventure. And on select nights, you can dine with Cap, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other heroes thanks to the park's separate-ticketed Marvel Character Dinner at Cafe 4.

3. 4th of July Celebration at SeaWorld Orlando

Gather your family and friends for one of Orlando's most vibrant patriotic events at SeaWorld Orlando's 4th of July Celebration! On Independence Day, the park's end-of-day spectacle, Ignite, gets a special finale in honor of the holiday. It's included with regular park admission, and the fireworks, pyrotechnics and lasers can all be enjoyed in comfort at SeaWorld's Bayside Stadium.

4. Red, White & Boom! at LEGOLAND Florida Resort

LEGOLAND Florida Resort pulls out all the stops for its annual Red, White & Boom! event, which culminates with a one-of-a-kind fireworks extravaganza where special viewing glasses make it appear as if bricks are exploding overhead. There's also a DJ dance party, the chance to help build a giant LEGO American flag, and much more. Plus, it's a great day to check out the Washington section of the park's Miniland USA display!

5. Protect the White House at America's Escape Game

The White House is in trouble on Independence Day and every day at America's Escape Game, which is located on International Drive. In Crisis at 1600, a paramilitary group has seized the building and launched a swarm of missiles that can only be disarmed from inside the Oval Office. It will fall on you and up to nine other players to save the day — and millions of lives in the process!

6. Ride the Freedom Flyer at Fun Spot America Orlando

Soar like an eagle — an American bald eagle, of course — on Fun Spot America's Freedom Flyer. The suspended, inverted steel roller coaster is part of the lineup of family-friendly attractions at Fun Spot's Orlando location on International Drive, which also features the brand-new (and patriotically painted) HeadRush 360. Although Fun Spot's Kissimmee location near Walt Disney World doesn't have a Freedom Flyer, you can still fly like America's mascot there courtesy of its Screaming Eagles attraction.

7. See Bald Eagles on Orlando Boat Tours

The Orlando area provides many opportunities to see the American bald eagle in natural settings — particularly when you book passage on our boat tours and rides. For fast-paced action, look into Boggy Creek Airboat Rides, Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Rides and Wild Florida. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour offers a relaxing, one-hour cruise through the waterways of its charming namesake city.

8. Salute America's Astronauts at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

Space exploration has been a major part of the American experience for more than half a century, and you can explore its past, present and future at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, about an hour from downtown Orlando on Florida's East Coast. Beyond learning about astronauts, you can even dine with one at the buffet-style Lunch With an Astronaut, which is scheduled to feature space shuttle pilot Mike Mullane on July 4.
