Disney's Blizzard Beach: Don't let the polar theme fool you — the water's always warm at Florida's only outdoor ski resort, which is one of two water parks at Walt Disney World Resort. After catching a chair lift up Mt. Gushmore, race down the slope on bobsled and toboggan-themed water slides. Then, enjoy a relaxing, 40-minute journey on the park's 3,000-foot-long lazy river.

Orlando Watersports Complex: Minutes from Orlando International Airport and The Florida Mall, this water park offers wakeboarding, wakeskating, wakesurfing, kneeboarding and waterskiing for children and adults. (Parental waivers are required for children under 18, as well as a one-hour lesson for children under 10.) They also just debuted Central Florida's first Aquapark, which features a modular series of inflatable, interlocking climbing obstacles, pathways and slides for hours of watery fun.

The Grove Resort & Spa: Surf's up at this resort's newly opened Surfari Water Park, which features a FlowRider® Double surf simulator, dual water slides, a 695-foot lazy river and a zero-entry pool. It also has a kids' activities pool complete with three slides and water toys. Access is complimentary for guests of the resort, and the experience can be enhanced with private poolside cabana rentals.

Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld: This hotel's R Aqua Zone water park features an energetic teen and tween play area with two twisting, turning water slides — one of which is more than 120 feet long! Other ways to play include periscope guns, a gyroscope spinner, water jets and a water windmill. And toddlers will love the pint-sized wading pool with a slide, more than 20 mini-water jets and a rain tree.

Reunion Resort: Open to official resort guests and members, this lush, tropical water park offers five acres of aquatic escape, including a lazy river, a zero-entry pool and three water slides, one of which is 110 feet long. There's even a special zone for children, where they can get a squeal-inducing splash from a comically large bucket that overturns on the regular.
