Dreaming of a spring vacation? Fortunately, winter will be over soon in Orlando, and our theme parks are ready to celebrate spring with fun festivals and new attractions. You don’t even have to wait until the official start of the season to enjoy it all!

Spring Events at Walt Disney World Resort

Epcot International Festival of the Arts (Jan. 12–Feb. 19): Time is running out to enjoy this cultural celebration of art, food and entertainment, now in its second year at Epcot. Special features include visual-art presentations, arts-influenced food and drink, and live music running the gamut from local bands to Broadway stars.

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival (Feb. 28–May 28): Offering breathtaking garden spaces and wildlife habitats, inspirational exhibits and demonstrations, and beloved Disney-themed topiaries, Epcot's signature springtime event keeps getting bigger and better. This year's edition will also feature garden-inspired food and libations, as well as the outdoor Garden Rocks concert series.

Spring Events at Universal Orlando Resort

Mardi Gras (Feb. 3–Apr. 7): Held at Universal Studios Florida, this annual celebration brings the sights, sounds and tastes of New Orleans' biggest party to Orlando. In addition to the opportunity to nab plenty of beads, you can look forward to a nightly parade, live concerts by top names in music, a recreation of New Orleans' famous French Quarter and authentic Cajun cuisine.

Fast & Furious — Supercharged: Although an official launch date has yet to be announced, this new attraction is scheduled to open this spring at Universal Studios Florida. Based on the blockbuster film series, it will take you on a high-speed ride with the movies' most popular characters.

Spring Events at SeaWorld Orlando

Seven Seas Food Festival (Feb. 17–Apr. 15): Now in its second year, SeaWorld Orlando's spring festival draws inspiration from "street food" dishes popular in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Asia and South America, as well as local craft beers. What's more, live performances from hit-making rock, country and Latin musicians will take place every Saturday and Sunday.

Ray Rush: Featuring water jets, a colossal water sphere and dives, this raft ride is scheduled to debut at Aquatica, SeaWorld's Waterpark, this spring, with the launch date to be announced. The new attraction will give you three ways to slide, splash and soar on a fully loaded water adventure.

Spring Events at LEGOLAND Florida Resort

On Mar. 23, Legoland will debut its newest attraction: The Great Lego Race, in which kids can blast their way through a world made of Legos. It's the first virtual-reality (VR) roller-coaster experience designed just for kids. What's more, it marks the first time the Lego brand and mini-figure characters have been integrated with VR technology in an attraction.
