Orlando's hometown soccer fans proclaimed the new stadium “a gift from the gods,” in the home opener against New York City FC. As Orlando was named the best city in the U.S. for soccer fans by WalletHub in 2016, the opening of the brand-new stadium creates all the more reason to continue this passionate fandom.

Already named the #1 stadium in MLS by The Guardian, this state-of-the-art stadium offers everyone a prime viewing spot for the beautiful game.

Welcome, Have a Seat

The two-tiered stadium design gives all 25,500 seats a prime viewing angle, and the design of the overhead canopies is said to boost the sounds from within the stadium, aiding in the energy and overall fan experience. While the majority of seats are purple, Orlando City has created a memorial to Pulse victims in section 12 with 49 rainbow-colored seats in six rows.

Location, Location, Location

Orlando City Stadium joins several new or recently upgraded facilities in downtown Orlando conveniently located off of I-4, Orlando's main interstate connecting the tourism corridor to downtown. Along with the Amway Center, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and Camping World Stadium, this new venue adds to our destination's diverse entertainment options.

The Fan Experience

Orlando City supporters are collectively known as, “The Wall” on match day. Fully clad in purple, armed with booming drums and an infectious energy, these supporters chant and cheer throughout the game adding an electric feel to every home game.

Free Wi-Fi

An unsuspecting but important component of the new stadium is hundreds of little gray panels along the handrails throughout the stadium. There are 583 of these little guys that serve as the wireless points to carry high-density Wi-Fi to ensure your favorite moments are shared in real-time with friends and fans not lucky enough to snag a seat.

Orlando City Home Game Schedule

The team will play 17 home games this season providing plenty of chances for you to catch the action. In addition, the new stadium is home to the Orlando Pride, who will open their second season in the NWSL on April 22.
