1. Disney's Yacht Club Resort & Disney's Beach Club Resort in Orlando: These Walt Disney World Resort resorts share Stormalong Bay: A three-acre water park with a sandy bottom, a 230-foot-long waterslide, a lazy river and three whirlpool spas, among other features. And for even more leisure opportunities, check out the resorts' communal Tidal, Admiral and Dunes Cove pools.

2. Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort: This deluxe resort boasts five ways to have fun in the water, starting with the 7,590-square-foot Family Pool featuring a gently sloping beach entry. It also has an underwater audio system, as does the adults-only Oasis Pool, where you'll find a Jacuzzi. Add in a splash zone, lazy river and water slide and you might never want to dry off.

3. Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort: This retro-cool resort's Cabana Courtyard features an expansive pool, dive tower-themed water slide and poolside bar, as well as rentable cabanas, shaded picnic tables and a large fire pit. At the Lazy River Courtyard, enjoy another massive pool with a winding river, sandy beach, two fire pits, lots of outdoor seating, and a poolside bar and grill.

4. Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando: Three pools await you at this Universal Orlando Resort accommodation. First, the Beach Pool features a Roman aqueduct-themed waterslide, adjacent children's pool, two Jacuzzis, three cabanas and a sandy beach. Next, the refined Villa Pool has private cabana rentals and upgraded lounge chairs. Last but not least, find a quiet place to relax at the Hillside Pool.

5. Legoland Beach Retreat: In addition to the largest themed pool at LEGOLAND Florida Resort, this resort has a sandy play area where kids can build sandcastles, play in a giant structure and participate in a variety of pool activities. And at the adjacent Bricks Beach Bar, you can enjoy Lego-themed food, drinks and cocktails, or have them served poolside.

6. Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld: Just a half-mile from SeaWorld Orlando, this resort has its own on-site water park. Called the R Aqua Zone, it features water slides and jets, a children's pool and a rain tree, making it a watery oasis the whole family can enjoy. Plus, guests of the resort get complimentary, front-of-the-line access to SeaWorld.

7. Orlando World Center Marriott: Close to Disney, Universal and SeaWorld, this expansive resort offers four heated, outdoor pools in one at its Falls Pools Oasis. Features include a tower with three different waterslides, a kid's zero-entry pool with toys and activities, four soothing whirlpools, and a 600,000-gallon lagoon pool. Inside the resort, you'll find two additional heated pools.

8. CoCo Key Hotel and Water Resort Orlando: This unique International Drive location has its own on-site water park, complete with 14 waterslides, the Minnows Lagoon toddler pool, Coral Reef teen pool and Parrot's Perch interactive play area. Guests get free admission to the water park, which is also open to the public, as well as exclusive access to the resort's heated outdoor pool and hot tub.

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress: This lagoon-style pool features a waterside tower pavilion, water-jet splash zone, two whirlpools, 12 waterfalls, a rock cave, a rope bridge and even a sundeck with private cabanas for rent. You can also get poolside lounge service for cocktails and food. The result is a tranquil escape with fun activities for people of all ages.
