Grab your Halloween costumes and make a splash with waves of fun during SeaWorld Orlando's Halloween Spooktacular. Pumpkin Fishes and Sea Witches, along with more than two million pieces of sweets, provide a daytime twist on family-friendly trick-or-treating in Orlando. 

Included with regular park admission, this enchanting event is oceans of costumed fun for everyone. Unlike most Halloween events that take place after dark, Halloween Spooktacular brings the spooky family fun into the daytime.

Here are ten of our favorite tips from the event to help you enjoy your time at the party.

#1. Every weekend in October, children of all ages can enjoy a variety of fun activities, watch silly shows and take pictures with whimsical "fantasea" characters. You'll find a fun character or two around every corner.

#2. The Spooktacular party kicks off at noon and goes until 8 p.m. We suggest arriving when they open the gates to maximize your family's trick-or-treat fun time. Keep in mind the warmer afternoon temperatures here in Central Florida when dressing your kids in their costumes.

#3. One of the big highlights is Penelope's Party Zone. This underwater environment immerses children in the wonders of the sea through music, crafts, games, and colorful characters.

#4. Princess Penelope leads the audience through playful stories and fun activities. Afterward, families dance and play along to spooky sounds and tunes played by a live DJ.

#5. For SeaWorld's twist on pumpkin patches, schools of pumpkin fish along with a variety of fanciful sea creatures welcome young trick-or-treaters as they stroll around the area enjoying all the sights and sounds of this event.

#6. Get a "splash" of sweet creativity at the cookie decorating station. Kids can decorate cookies with their own spooky designs from a kit purchased for a few extra dollars.

#7. Trick-or-treating is, of course, the main event at this celebration. With multiple candy stations and a wide array of sweets and treats, kids will be swimming in Halloween Spooktacular goodies.

#8. There's over two million pieces of candy throughout the event. And don't worry. This candy is the good stuff! Grab a free bag as you enter the area and fill it up with all of the yummy candy treats available.

#9. Not to burst your bubble but there's lots and lots of bubbles...everywhere! Adding a bubble-rific element to the afternoon party, and that enchantment under the sea feeling, there are many large bubble blowers blowing gallons and gallons of bubbles throughout the area.

#10. Little ones can countdown to Halloween with their favorite Sesame Street characters. Join Count von Count, Elmo and more for a treat of a musical stage show.
