Visit Orlando is now recruiting for a full-time Marketing Representative. The Marketing Representative works with the Vice President of Marketing, Director and Marketing Managers to implement various Visit Orlando's consumer marketing campaigns.



  • Assists in the implementation of marketing programs by coordinating media, creative and messaging between the consumer marketing department, Visit Orlando members and other Visit Orlando departments.
  • Work with agencies to fulfill ad creative to meet material deadlines. Also manage production of all types of marketing collateral, brochures, and consumer publications print & digital elements of campaigns including tracking critical dates for print and digital projects.
  • Help implement various consumer marketing campaigns with primary support of the US Domestic team as well as assisting Marketing Managers across the Global Marketing team.
  • Responsible for distributing all consumer marketing opportunities through Salesforce, as well as organizing and tracking member responses.
  • Develops and maintains various reports for Director of Marketing, including the cooperative summary calendar for print & digital initiatives, media flowcharts, campaign tracking reports & consumer marketing status report. 
  • Utilize Salesforce to maintain and update records to track marketing campaigns including setting-up Key IDs for lead gen efforts as well as implementing sweepstakes/opt-in campaigns. 
  • Manages destination content updates for key online directories including Brand USA, Google, TripAdvisor and other partner digital properties.
  • Manages and executes membership advertising co-op programs working closely with advertising agency, membership advertising sales and members from initial campaign opportunities through full execution of co-op campaign.
  • Work with content team to develop monthly E-newsletter content, manage production and approvals, and distribute via Sales Force Marketing Cloud according to scheduled timelines.
  • Act as the primary contact for the global consumer leisure content database (Widen) which includes collecting, organizing, monitoring expiration dates and controlling distribution of approved assets. 
  • Manages the Nxtbook programs for all online guides. Ensures the most current guides are developed and uploaded. Manage the production timeline in partnership with Publications team. Partners with the vendor in the development of a mobile application. 
  • Assists the Partnership team with execution of broadcast related initiatives, promotional campaigns, special events, consumer engagement including but not limited to on-site filming, logistics, as well as asset collection and distribution as needed. Occasionally provides back up for other administrative support team members in related marketing departments as needed.
  • Ensures protection of the Orlando and Visit Orlando Brand. Serves as Brand ambassador.
  • Ensures own work area is maintained in a safe and clean manner.
  • Performs other functions and projects as assigned.









Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university in a related discipline preferred; or 3-5 years of experience and/or training/education in a marketing environment. Previous work in media buying/planning with digital media experience preferred. Ad agency or travel/hotel industry experience a plus. Must have exceptional organizational and communications skills.




35 cwpm keyboarding. Intermediate or higher-level proficiencies in MS Outlook, Word and Excel. Some PowerPoint preferred.




Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.



Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.




Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to think ahead and anticipate necessary components/actions to implement details of marketing programs.
