The Global Consumer Marketing team is responsible for managing integrated marketing campaigns including advertising, publicity, promotions and broadcast initiatives for the organization to expand the awareness of the destination. Markets include US, Canada, UK, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Meetings & Conventions.


Visit Orlando is seeking a Consumer Marketing Intern for the Spring 2019 semester to support the team as they plan, pitch and execute their strategic plans. Ideally, the intern candidate should possess strong organizational, communication and writing skills. Basic computer skills - to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint - are required.  Previous Marketing intern experience a plus.


Global Consumer Marketing Intern duties may include:

  • Traffic creative through the in-house creative agency (particularly for the South American markets)
  • Exposure to planning and executing global marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations
  • Write and distribute a bi-weekly trend report
  • Attend department and client meetings
  • Work with other disciplines (areas) of the company
  • Track competitive information for a variety of initiatives
  • Assist with sponsorship programs and signature events such as Magical Dining
  • Complete special research projects as assigned
  • Attend broadcast initiatives and signature events (if possible)
  • Work in an ever-changing atmosphere where each day presents a new project and learning experience
  • Ability to speak and write Spanish or Portuguese a plus


Qualification Requirements:

  • Students must be enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate program.
  • Must be able to work at least 20 hours a week.
