All Aboard Florida is a new train service between Orlando and Miami, with a stop at Orlando International Airport (MCO) and eventually International Drive, that will make commuting between two of Florida’s great cities fast, simple and economical.
The service will provide early morning and late evening hourly departures, with just a three hour trip time between the two cities. Trains may reach upwards of 150 miles per hour during the trip. This privately owned venture has received the approval from the Florida Department of Transportation as well as the communities it will serve.
Expected to begin service in late 2015, the route begins in Miami with stops in Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Orlando. Orlando International Airport’s station has received approval and construction is expected to begin in early 2014.
